Email signatures should have text for urls/emails/phone# so that people can USE the information contained within it. Turning them into images defeats the primary purpose of the signature in exchange for design.

@@ElizabethGregg46 A link, to a url. However each item within the signature should be it's own and also be easily exportable / clickable so that people don't have to read an image to type in your phone number for instance. is underutilized and in modern computing becoming more readily usable.

Sure, image based sigs are pretty. But you can't copy and paste details from an image. If I get an email with a signature and it includes things like the sender's address, phone, and other details, I have to type those details into a new contact card, instead of copying and pasting them from text provided in the original message. Having to type those details leaves me open to making errors/typos. Also, if a recipient uses text-only emails (some people choose to render their received messages as text to cut down on message sizes or guard against phishing emails that try to hide nefarious links), then using an image means your contact details don't show up at all for that recipient. You can still have pretty sigs - you just need to take a different approach. Maybe Kevin and his team can show us how to craft a sig using Word - tables can be used for this purpose, and can be cleverly formed to make sure your contact details are text based.

Good video but it would have been nice to see how to add alternative text for the signature image so people with visual impairment could obtain the same information from the signature. I wish more KZbinrs would teach how to make more accessible content.

I like this but by adding an image to the signature, you can't include more than one hyperlink to your social accounts, website etc.

The image is very blurry when you upload it to Gmail because it is so small (400 x 200 px) and you cannot change it on the free version. Nor did you say we needed to but it comes across very blurry. What do you suggest please?

They are the two most invasive and non private email services on the internet. Google and Microsoft effectively read and own the contents of your mail.

The "only" downturn with this way is that your whole signature can be linked only to one "link" (web or mail) ... if you simply insert your elements in outlook signature editor you can have link to mail, link to web etc.

I did the exact same thing and it keeps saying signature too long. I also tried removing the clickable links and keep being met with he same error. I've tried jpg, png, making the image smaller etc. do you have any tips?

Try resizing the image. The only reason I can think of is that the size (weight of the file) is too large.
