In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

He did a similar thing with Sophie Duker on the bike task in the last series by stating he has to follow the direction of the arrows, giving her the clue to switch them around. But yeah, for me the biggest turnoff with this season was the favouring of Morgana, other examples are the 'little fucker' bonus point and getting two bonus points in the riddle task while her teammates struggled for an hour
@Becausing
@Becausing Жыл бұрын
I somewhat agree, but to be fair he only gave the hint once Morgana found the Troy clue. If someone else found that I'd imagine he would have also provided the same info. That said, I totally agree that she got too many opportunities for superlative points throughout the series that weren't really afforded to other contestants. Desiree, for example, should have gotten an extra point or two for her disastrous/incredible performance in the portcullis & balloon task.

Alan made the most effort and I’m glad he got the 6 points, his bridge was awesome. I did think Alex helped Morgana way too much in this task which was a little unfair. I don’t think she should have scored higher than Victoria or Desiree. Desiree eating sand was hilarious.

I know these are all filmed and re-edited in order, but I'd bet no one was going to find the secret compartment so he chose to reveal it to the last person who went and they made that the last clip as well. I agree they gave her free points there, but if they didn't it'd undercut the spirit of the "cleverness" of the crow task. Also no one cares about the points anyway, I think they were being nice to the American :P

@@sullenskulls9709 except bridges don't need a hole. If you had a dam across the exit of a body of water (and was pumping out the water to prevent overfilling), and put a walkway across the dam, then you've got a bridge with no hole. If you later put a hole or tunnel in it, it doesn't stop the bridge from being a bridge.

The walls of the room are covered with visqueen. My idea would be to rip it down in order to make sand bags. If the sand is tightly packed into the bags like sausage wrappers (using strips of the visqueen as ties to compress the sand) they will tend to hold their shape rigid-- even against tension forces that the sand cannot normally take. It's a little like pre-stressed concrete. Arguably the bridge is more of a sand bridge than using another rigid material to provide structure. The sand itself is actually providing the structural support. The visqueen bags are merely converting the load from a tensile force to a compressive force that the sand can handle. Of course it requires tearing down the walls.

Technically she found the answer herself as she was the only one to spot that the raven had Troy written on it. Alex simply explained one of the most well known aspect's of the Iliad to her because I imagine he was surprised when the only person who discovered his clue had no idea what a Trojan horse actually was. He likely assumed all contestants would know the story of the hidden comaprtment.

@@ShugoAWay No... Calling the lady fat doesn't work in this case. Fat people don't eat straight buckets of sugar... What you are thinking of is dead people as their heart gave out before they could even give themselves diabetes. Fat people eat buckets of chicken. Soon they shall be convinced to eat out of a trough. I was raised by a heavy set woman, have dated heavy set women, and have personal experiences eating large quantities of sugar with a spoon. I just ate it from the bag... Honestly brown sugar is way better for eating raw. It has a more complicated flavor and is a better experience because of it. Whilst raw canesugar is kind of like a one two punch of sweet that doesn't really carry on for large periods of time straight without getting kind of gross. Oh and I'm very skinny. The closest I ever got to fat was some real thick thighs. I mean I am clinicly over weight even now but that's just cause I got too much meat to me regardless of fat I'm a boney muscular scranny dude who you'd think is unthreatening but then you hit me and no matter where you hit me you will have hurt your hand because it's so firm and that's me naturally and out of shape.

It's not a thing anyone is doing... Except maybe Elizabeth the first queen of England... Bitch had a legendary sweet tooth and is reason to this day British people have stereotypically bad dental hygiene. They used to have very good dental hygiene but the queen drove all the noble women and men to believe unhealthy rotting teeth is sexy or magnificent showing their wealth and value. Yet sugar isn't really that expensive or rare now days so... Much like simply being fat that used to be a status symbol of wealth or nobility. It's long since lost its meaning.

a bridge doesn't have to be made of the item in the name of the bridge to be classed as a bridge... for example a stone bridge might be made from stone but a railway bridge isnt made of railways or trains... so a sand bridge could be made from sand or it could be a bridge made of anything for the use of transporting sand over it.. also.. one might be able to use glass and say its a sand bridge cos glass is just melted sand.. or madke it from stone.. cos stone is just sand that is stuck together with pressure - ie sandstone... a bridge for transporting water... a water bridge or aquaduct is not made of water.. so as i said, no matter what they made it out of, they would have been correct... the only way its not correct is if it doesnt allow something to pass under it.. like water, or a road etc.. if its solid to the ground all the way under it.. its no longer a bridge but a dam or a wall etc
