More fantastic Aussie goodness. This was on one of the Aussie lists I sent Jillian, glad you enjoyed. Awesome that someone else suggested too. Good blend of screams and cleans. If y’all ever come this way I’ll have to take you to some local shows 😊

This is the first single they released with this keyboardist (Alex Reade). Before that, she was in Drown This City (Another aussie metalcore band). She was on lead vocals, clean and harsh (with her bassist doing growls). "Stay Broken" or "In Your Image" would be a good introduction to them.

Jillian was right about the girl keyboardist. I love her. I need to show this to my brother. He will love it. He is a composer and loves this genre. This helps me learn things and now I know why Jeremy never listens to lyrics ;) Love the time change at the end. Just curious, though, have you ever heard of the Mars Volta? I may request something from them if you haven't.

Hey Dani! Love seeing you in different genre videos!!! See...now you get it about Jeremy and lyrics. Honestly, this channel has been the most eye opening experience TRULY learning what we like / dislike (and why). SO cool!! We have heard of Mars Volta, but it's been a looonnngg time!! LOL!! Hugs!

Yoooo Dani!! Yeah, Mars Volta was pretty badass. I never got into them at the time because everything had to be metal. Lol. But I bet I’d be into it a lot more these days. Also, the flute player from Mars Volta played in a band with Tosin Abasi (from Animals As Leaders)…it’s a jazz project called T.R.A.M. Absolutely amazing.

@@danivansuperstar dammit Dani…I’m sitting here editing your Jelly Roll song (Son of a Sinner), and I started thinking to myself….i think I’m starting to understand country. I mean…I still can’t see me putting it on…but it’s starting to…dare I say…grow on me…ever so teensy-weensy. Lol. Shhhhhhhhh. Don’t tell Ninja and the Fries. lol. 👀

Is it me or does the guitar sound a little like Meshuggah?
@musikbyjh9 ай бұрын
I can hear that. But then again, so many people who play 8 strings these days, can chalk it up to Meshuggah anyways.

WELL, holy cow, my brother just sent some Meshuggah stuff to me to hear (wow) - "Dancers to a Discordant System."

He also sent a bunch of Mars Volta stuff, because he knows I'm a vocalist, and I've always loved the vocals for MV, so there is that, too ...

@@danivansuperstarhell yeah! What a great brother! Haha. Meshuggah is sick. Rational Gaze, Do Not Look Down, and Break Those Bones Who Sinews Gave It Motion. Crazy song name. But it’s dope! lol.
