Ian Flynn's writing for the characters here is fixing the Studiopolis voice cast to give their characters who were underutilized throughout the 2010s era more layers & nuance.

@@reggielacey2235 I didn't say the voices were the problem. I'm talking about the Pontac & Graff style of writing from the 2010s & making the characters act like flanderized 1-note version of themselves. Plus, the voice direction.

I actually don't hate or think they were descharacterized during the 2010s at all They were for sure pretty underwhelming and underutilized, definetly didn't had 10% of the cool moments they had in the 2000s, but I'm always glad that they kept Sonic as a guy who loves adventures and hate others being opressed, etc. Though that's probably more thanks to Sonic Team's behalf rather than Pontac and Graff

@@ThisisTheUltimate I still don't like Pontac & Graff's writing in the Sonic series all that much. But when they write their own original work like Happy Tree Friends & Mad World, etc...they're good, just not for Sonic.

Yup, his real name, sense the game from Shadow didn't say his name just commander. Now we know. Idk why the Resistance, Tails, and Shadow don't keep one of Eggman's ships safe when destroying his base and hideout. So they have a ride go to the Ark. Yup, Roger is voice E-123 Omega from the Christmas episode of Tails's KZbin video. Rouge's VA I still like her, but I don't like the high pitch. It is between a hit or a miss, but it's still good. One last video and then game time. Nice work.

@@tarasdiary for me I have played Shadow very recently as I’ve been retro game collecting mostly Nintendo but I did get a lot of sonic games some being unleashed heroes adventure 1 DX and 2 battle black knight etc So to me any lore with adventure might slip by me as I only just beat those games quite recently and still got stuff to do in shadow before the movie releases lol But hey I know who abe is now lol

I always felt Kirk was miscast as Shadow. He's actually one of my favorite American VAs, but his voice is just too gravely. Now he's a skilled enough actor to work around it, which he's certainly done in these shorts so far, but I still think Humphrey or Griffith with good direction would have been better. But this is still fine, so I won't complain.
