Hi Chuck and Paige. Another awesome group of videos your putting together for us. Your talking about Islands and I am not sure if either of you have been to Koh Lanta. I spent 13 days on the island this time last year and I was impressed and happy to have been there. I can compare it to where you are at the moment because I haven't been there yet. But if you get down to Koh Lanta 1 day I think you will like it there.

The bed probably just has a mattress topper on it. I had the best sleep on an island around 2 weeks ago and had to see what the mattress was. It just had a good topper on it. Can get them for around 3k baht on Lazada. Also the restaurant was probably called The Oven but because the letter for W/V is interchangeable in Thailand (ว) when changing to English, it got lost in translation.

Your thoughts about 'why Koh Chang' are pretty much spot on with mine. Its quite different to the islands to the west. Koh Si Chang is a bit like it, being predominately Thai tourists, but too small and nothing like the same scenery.

When people ask me why I like koh chang so much its difficult to pin point. It just has an authentic atmosphere for me, and like you said, a lot of different types of places to explore. Love the renovated red boardwalk through the mangroves at salekphet and indie beach near bang bai is such a great place to eat and chill during the day. Too many you mention though. :)

Hey chuck what day will you go to khao koh? If you are there on a week end you should check out walking street in lom Sak. It's about 20 mins drive from khao koh and the walking street is amazing. Hi chuck and paige great video only few things bad about ko chang beware of the monkeys, wet roads on motorbikes I came off on the big hill going down to lonely beach girlfriend lost 1 of her front teeth and busted her arm up I slid 30 yards down the hill lucky only broke a few fingers, and like you said the sand flies wot do you put on was it coconut oil ?, best thing about koh chang can.have few days in different places white sands, coconut beach/klong prao, kai bie, lonely beach, klong koi near bang beo, and people are naturally friendly.
