Yeah buddy....great troubleshooting Steve...you took what it wasn't doing, combined it with what it should be doing and changed what needed to be changed to suit the customers need and have a safe and reliable operating system. Nicely done....you are a sharp dude and know your stuff

Wow that air makeup is way cleaner than any of the junk I work on. Access is always the worst on them. I've had to do some sketchy stuff to get into them. Good work!

Thank you, sir! I appreciate that, Ryan. I'm getting more comfortable working on crap I don't really know anything about, which is basically what I do most of the time, lol

Well done. I had a fault with the a/c system before Christmas and only open a few months and faulting out on super heat. It ended up the controller was set to wrong gas and compressor. Trying tech support was fun at this time. I was there when they weren't. I reprogrammed the controller and fine now.

Sorry lost it, they have basically a rack of compressors feeding a multi-circuit evaporator. Some of them control the humidity from the outside air and have either gas or electric reheat. There are different manufactures other than Aaon. All of these are design build per engineer specs. No diagrams abd no way to get them. Great job, considering how you had to use an extension ladder to get to it.

Thanks, George! We see a lot of these as well. Once you understand the basic operation, you have to understand what it was designed to do, then they are not too bad.

Does it break so often they leave a ladder laying there to work on it? Take care and stay warm out there.
@EverythingHVACR

😆, I actually hadn't considered that. These do tend to get jacked up. People dont understand them, so they just start messing with controls. Thanks, Lowry Brock!

Lol, it wasn't so bad once the ice was gone. The concrete platform was not always there. They added to allow better access. Thanks r aeronca!

Yes, it is. The concrete was added to help access, and think about before, it was damn near impossible.

ICE (Industrial Commercial Equipment) is out of business but ICE Western (also in Canada) now manufactures and supports their equipment. Not sure if they bought them or if the merged or something else.

Interesting, we tried to get information, but the wire diagram wasn't this specific unit, and that's all we could get. Thanks Kenny W
