Anna Wiggins i am really depressed cause of this perioral dermatitis as its not only itchy and flaky but it leaves dark black patch around my mouth and nose 😢

When my skin is recovering from a flare up and is dry and slacking off like a snake, I use a bare minerals cleansing oil, do my cream + steroid cream routine, let it set in, then apply an ointment emollient (diprobase) all over as a primer. It counteracts the drying of any makeup that then goes on. i also usually use a little vaseline on cheekbones and eyelids after eyeshadow and everything else, before mascara.

Don’t use steroid creams. My sister used them for a long time and once she stopped her skin freaked out and she went through a steroid withdrawal. I do not recommend!

+Eleanor Goddard Its terrible I hate it. Sometimes I wish that I could just have normal skins. Its the worsrlt in summer because I have to put suncream on (which burns) and when I go into the sea and back out my skin is very dry and i have to re apply all my lotions.Its so tiring.

I have had eczema for 13 years and I'm 13 now, this really helps because my skin always flakes and flares up 😞 but this really helped me. Thank you very much ❤️

My skin is like the desert I have to apply an emolient a few times a day. So wearing foundation wouldn't work atal for me. I've tried my skin hates it. I'm also allergic to eye make-up I get conjunctivitis if I use it. I'm actually thinking of just trying a little cream blush and some lipstick. Just to make myself feel a little girlie.

I have eczema around my eyes which the doctor I saw said was brought on my cosmetics. I have been trying different brands to see what works and what I won't have a reaction too but so far I've been totally unsuccessful, Does anyone have any suggestions for good brands that won't irritate my eyes in terms of like foundations and concealer or a primer with a protective layer? Im desperate!!!!!!

I have had eczema all my life. My experience is this: Use keihls, too faced, urban decay, maybelline, loreal, estee lauder, katVon D, LA girl or huda beauty (other than mascara-itches really bad). Say no to supergoop, glow recipe, tarte, all primers, elf, drunk elephant, all kinds of makeup setting sprays.

I have moderate to severe eczema. I just find this a little insulting. I thought I was going to look at something to help me with my problem. If you have to look for it with a magnifying glass she does not have a real issue. I feel bad if anyone has it at all because it’s terrible However, her skin looks perfect and it’s a little rude for people who have real issues with it and then to market it as full on eczema. Just my opinion though.
