WEAR HEADPHONES FOR BEST EFFECT
Ever wanted to hear Wain L's original 1994 version of Make Up Your Mind and Dave Rodgers' 2007 cover AT THE SAME TIME?! Being that it's one of my favorite eurobeat songs, I combined both versions to make a eurobeat remix! While I only used Adobe Premiere (it's what I know best, editing wise), the result is something I'm genuinely proud of. Only two adjustments were made to each version, channel balancing and slight boosts in the bass here and there. This is the best success I've ever had with matching songs to create something that sounds on point pretty much the whole way through.

the two tracks aren't even in the same key... the pitches are completely clashing, how can can nobody hear this? This is awful! The phasing issues are god awful, too... some sample tuning would have been wise

mgmg Well, I'm by no means an audio engineer. All I used for this was Premiere, a video editing software, not one that is made for audio production. I simply took the two songs, sped the Wain L. version up, balanced the audio tracks and boosted the bass here and there, that's it. If I desire to delve into audio production further, I might attempt to improve this.

Vectrex4Life Hearing that the two tracks are offkey from one another is more the realm of musicians than audio engineers. I'm always perplexed as to why everyone wants to bass boost everything, as songs are produced, mixed and mastered with a very specific goal in mind are intended to be heard the same way they were produced, but at the very least you're using a limiter so the audio didn't clip. I can't count the number of times my speakers were almost destroyed because some nightcore "producers" figured they could boost the shit out of the bass, clip their tracks to hell and then assume they could just upload the result on KZbin without worrying about that stuff lol. I would highly reccomend getting into audio engineering as a hobby, all that nonsense aside. It's a rewarding and productive passtime and there are endless tutorials online to help anyone from beginners to pros alike.

What's worse is how one songs on one ear, and ones in the other. What you did ok tho was getting the singing lined up. That's nice. But the rest of it. TOO MUCH CLASH.
