Losing Town Crier (and Acolyte of Pain to a lesser extent) really slowed Warrior down. It really killed Galakrond Warrior because it was a pretty consistent way to draw invokes and keep active on the board.

@@inasd7545 Bladestorm was supposed to be a suitable replacement for Warpath, but there's so many small minions around that it rarely does more than 2 damage. Bulwark is similarly bad since the prevalence of small minions and pings (namely Antaen and Priestess of Fury) frequently means it's rarely more efficient than a Healing Touch (save 8 Health). Maybe a Galakrond Warrior shell could be formed out of Corsair Cache. Ritual Chopper is obviously core for the deck, and other cards like Livewire Lance and Ancharr could prove useful.

And mainly it lost the best win condition which was Leeroy. It's no longer good against control and it's no longer fast against aggro. I predicted warrior is going to die without the 1-drops even before acolyte HoF was announced. I'm both sad warrior doesn't see play and happy I was right about the meta development. I think it was mistake HoFing Acolyte as it never really felt OP and it was probably the only constructed viable card draw, which wasn't replaced by anything. So we are just going to have to rely on card draw expansions give us. Classes without expansion card draw are going to die in most cases, like Warrior or Shaman. I don't think even next 2 expansions are going to make warrior playable. The aggro Galakrond doesn't fit with the control tools it's getting and lol playing Warrior without Galakrond, what a meme that would be.

I know this is unusual for galakrond warrior but try it in a control shell. I personally use a taunt/dragon package and it feels amazing having an 8/11 armagdillo or buffing tomb warden to obscene levels. Just keep control of the board with your rush minions, invokes and 8 AOE. By late game you will have some THICC minions buffed from armagdillo or galakrond (sometimes from both >:D). Only found a few decks that can keep up with your lategame (libram pladadin and most priests) at which point you try to run them out of cards with archivist elysiana. Haven't ran in to another deck with her as of yet so fatigue has been GG most matches (did get combo'd by a demon hunter in most spectacular fashion involving kaelthas+doomhammer+inner demonx2, I had to applaud that combo lol). Slam and whelp are there to help draw/activate molten breath, you can cycle 5/6 cards depending on kronx then draw 4 with galakrond. I took out devoted maniac since the invoke on that card felt awkward alongside rush and never felt like it did enough lategame. Besides you still hit 4 invokes consistently with card draw, this could be improved with corsair cache instead of slam to straight up tutor an invoke but I like the potential removal for demon hunters (their entire early game is 2 health minions). If you feel you're facing tons of aggro I'd really recommend dropping archivist elysiana and 1 tomb warden for 2x sword and board, it's essentially armor up+shield slam for 1 mana instead of 3. That card has ruined a lot of demon hunters for me lol.

The problem with the Imprisoned Gan'arg 1 drop dude is that in this deck you dont mulligan agresively for the one drops, you want to keep the Galak cards in hand. In a pure aggro build its probably much better. 5 starts tho...?

They lost a LOT. Witchwoods rush cards are a key part of any aggressive warrior deck, that 1 mana 1/2 draw a rush minion was a must play and now those cards are gone its early plays are quite a bit worse, and other decks have got a lot better in comparison.
