In this episode I show how I made wood handles for a spear point knife kit I purchased from Woodcraft. I used Pau Ferro, a Brazilian hardwood, for the scales. I shaped the scales to fit my hand comfortably using a pair of rasps and finished the surface with Danish Oil rubbed out with 0000 steel wool.
The next step in this project is to make a sheath for it. Stay tuned for a video on that process.
