Have you tried LumaFusion app for iPhone? With it I’m able to color grade, crop out my drone, color key overlay anything including animated text, slow or speed up shots, and export 4k with injected 360 metadata! And the best part is I’m able to do it all from my iPhone 6 and with an app I only pay $25. one time! Not tied to my home computer and not stuck paying a monthly subscription! I know there’s allot more you can do with computer programs, but for guys like me on a budget it’s perfect!

Just looked at your video again and paid attention to your file. I was working with a 16bit file, and yours was 8. When you work with anything higher than 8bit space, then the healing brush doesn't work ... and the file goes dark ... figured that out ... thanks.

For some reason when i change to the 360 sperical pano view in PS it is so slow and the loading wheel comes up whenever i move, All the colours are really saturated as well. Basically it's not possible to make any changes. Have you seen this?

Hi Ben, just wondering what you use to video edit the fusion 360 footage? I’m stitching it in the fusion app no prob then rendering that at prores (the one on the right) but then when I edit in FCPX and render to H.264, then upload to YT it looks like utter garbage! What software should I be editing in so it doesn’t go from a $700 camera to looking like a $50 one please - and thanks.

Hey again- this isn’t to do with the camera, rather the export settings you’re using that are lowering the quality. Firstly stitch using h.264 at 5.2k. Then when you export from FCPX, make sure you’re also exporting at the same resolution as the clip dimensions, h.264. Fusion is by far the sharpest looking 360 camera which is why I’m confident it’s the setting you’re using.

Thanks for the tips...you are a life saver. Any tips for how to get rid of the chromatic aberrations. I have an insta360 one x, and I am shooting in raw. I click on the chromatic adjuster in raw and also dial down my purple and magenta, but my outdoor shots are really bad Just going to test if it helps shooting in hdr instead of raw). Also, not sure if it’s just me, but I’m not really happy with my image clarity when viewing at 100%. All the videos I’ve seen they never talk about how bad it is.

This is the second time I've seen this method for covering the monopod , but I'm struggling with it. I'm familiar with all the tools you use, but have never worked in the 3D environment before, so this seems to be the only difference, yet as soon as I try any of the tools to cover the tripod (content aware fill, healing brush, clone stamp, patch) the repaired area comes up really dark. All settings appear to be as normal and work fine in the normal 2D environment. Any guesses as to what might be happening?

Thanks Nick- I don’t think horizon correction is possible yet in PS. You might want to try ‘edit360’ if you have an iPhone- it will fix your photos in seconds 👍

Quick question, Ben. What happens if you try to upload the edited 360 photo to Facebook? When I've just changed one pixel of a 360 image in Paint, Facebook doesn't recognize it as a 360 image anymore, and instead treats it as a "flat but wide" ordinary image.
