I have CapCut Pro on my Windows 11 computer. When I am in the export page, and click on the Codex dropdown I do not see any ProRes export options. I see them in your video - but not in my CapCut Pro windows version. All that I see are H264, HEVC and AV1. I need ProRes because I will be doing some of my editing in Resolve after I finish with CapCutl. I tried importing 4K ProRes from my BlackMagic Camera app into CapCut -and as I said the export options do not show ProRes as an option. Any suggestions on how to “fix” that issue? Thanks! Rowby

Misleading title 😢

At the end of the day, when you can't make up your mind... Read the license agreements. Your choice will be made for you right there: CapCut locks you into non-commercial use, and when you use some of their "free" media, they also lock you into TikTok, because that's the only place where you're allowed to use that stuff. CapCut for Business only allows you to make ad videos for your own brand. Did none of the people who cheer for CapCut EVER read its license agreement and its accompanying terms of service? You should. CapCut is an amazing piece of software and it's a blast to use, I full agree. But unfortunately the legal aspects fully cripple it. Even the free version of DaVinci Resolve does not have such limitations - and Studio definitely is worth the 300 bucks for a lifetime (!) license which includes all future versions of the software (just like Apple, they want to sell their hardware, and the software is only a vehicle for selling more hardware).

Seems you need 'credits' to use this feature, which you need to either buy separately or get with the pro version. That's a a "Não" from me then.

I'm starting to get use to it, but I don't use hand tracking all the time.

What I dont like about Capcut is that it requires internet all the time and I have read it's privacy policy, it really just collects too much of data! Plus it's banned in my country just like tiktok and all other chinese apps

When I move edited clips from my downloaded album into the editor, they revert to the original video and all my reframing etc disappears. Is there a way to move edited clips into the editor, to make one long video?

Are you using the Pro version? My basic version desktop doesn’t appear the same. I have a question about audio. While editing, my volume levels sound fine, but when I export/share to KZbin, the volume is significantly lower. Why? (I’ll have to look again, but I don’t think I have the ‘Normalize’ option). Why does my version of Studio 5.1 not look anything like Studio 5.0?

I was hoping you'd go over the lightroom/color correcting part a little more.. I tried editing in lightroom to denoise and now the insta360 app doesn't recognize it as a 360 photo.

How did you import the 360 footage? Did you export it out of 360 studio first? 1 have 150 clips. I'm trying to export them out of 360 studio but my c drive keeps filling up even though my exports are on another drive. Any suggestions?

Don't know about the others, but I've struggled BIG time with Insta 360 X3's "Insta360 Studio" on both PC and Mac for 8 months now. Lagging editor view, crashes on export, and actually useless. Tried to get help from their support team, sending log files and everything possible. No solution. This is happening with and without Nvidia 4070Ti card, i7 CPU.

I just learned about Davinci Resolve about 30 minutes ago (I was trying to find an alternative to Premiere because it's just way too much for me). Found this video and I'm super impressed. I have a hard time learning these programs and you break down the basics so well. Thank you for making this video.

It might be more accurate if you mentioned that the "Captions" tab you mentioned at 4:04 of the video doesn't actually exist in the Windows PC version of CapCut. But at PC, some of those options are actually in the "Text" tab. However, the Captions Template option you mention right afterwards doesn't exist in the Windows PC version of CapCut either. That's exactly what I was looking for. It's a shame Capcut releases such different software for different operating systems :(

Hi great video As a complete beginner I get frsutrate dsometimes with what should be easy then its not. Eg when I am in the Edit Timeline who can I move the play head back to the start?

The X4 is disappointing because it lacks HDR photo features. Once you dig down through the menu, you find that the number of shots and +/-EV settings are all missing, and there is no option to save HDRs as RAW files. Assume you are using a single-shot photo to save as RAW.

do you prefer Kuula over matterport? are you able to leverage Kuula tours in Zillow listings? I have the insta360 x4 and it's not yet support in the Zillow 3D home app for ios, hoping soon I tried to create a tour on Zillow 3D Home on my iPhone and the quality isn't usable IMO and it takes so long! Images get stuck processing too sometimes. ☹
