I tried to get Sketchup FREE. It is now Cloud based. It is so crippled that you cannot save it in any workable format. All you can do is work with the tools, but you are unable do save anything. I want to thank you for your SimDirector video. I was able to place aircraft. at a default airport. Very cool. Since Sketchup no longer works for a modeler. I've downloaded and old version of GMAX. Don't know if it will do the job. Is there a truly free or reasonably price CAD program that will create files the ModeleConverterX will convert to P3D v4?

Go here to download an older version of Sketchup that will do all you need for this. www.sketchup.com/download/all I used "SketchUp Make 2017"

is that VFR Gen X version.3 you are running? I'm running it in P3d v3 with treescapes and it's no way near as photo real or crisp as that. Your fields actually look realistic in comparison to what I see

If you have the images of all the building sides, I am able to make models for you with fairly accurate height details, checkout my channel and the airports I have created for P3D and FSX over the years. You would be surprised how many in flight simulators actually drive around, also the bottom of your model needs to be removed to decrease poly count, as many models with to many polys can impact your frames.
