Today I am sharing how I use alcohol inks to make acetate embellishments inspired by the 49 & Market, acetate leaves. The process of using alcohol inks requires some safety practices but is worth the effort due to the artistic effects that you can achieve. Please, do watch the video linked below about the recommended safety precautions for working with alcohol ink media, and follow the advice? In this video, learn how to make leaves and butterfly embellishments, you can of course use any stamp to create an acetate embellishment of your choice. I have used 3 different alcohol ink products but there are many other brands available. The brands which I used are Tim Holtz alcohol inks, Poppy Crafts alcohol inks and Pinata color inks. The Poppy Crafts inks are a good product choice if you are on a budget or want to try them out before buying some of the more popular brands.

Materials used:
Dress my craft - Acetate- 100 Microns
Tsukineko StazOn inkpads - Jet Black, Cactus Green, Olive Green, Emerald City, and Spiced Chai.
Tim Holtz alcohol inks - Citrus, Meadow, Lettuce, Bottle, Stream, Pool, Turquoise, Monsoon, Butterscotch, Valencia, Terracotta, and Rust.
Poppy Crafts alcohol inks (24 Pigment set) - Orange, Yellow, Peach, Red, Pink, Purple, Orange Red, and Brown.
Pinata color ink - Blanco Blanco (sometimes referred to as Blanco white).
Stamp-It (1997) - Butterfly stamp (Lge.)
The other stamps are from the same era (approx. 1997) and unfortunately, I do not know which companies manufactured them.
