Concrete ratio:
*Foamcrete - 1 part cement 6 part fine perlite
*HBC (hollow block concrete) - 1 part cement, 2 parts fine sand, 4 parts 1-2mm size sand (will act as stone aggregate)
*Combo mix (foamcrete + HBC) - 1 part cement, 2 parts fine perlite, 4 parts sand
Water hasn't been measured for the 3 mixture, but the consistency was toothpaste like mixture.
Outworld - 1:1 for plaster and grout, but I used 5 part plaster 1 part grout on this video to lighten the color of the mixture.

You can buddy, but the best is the sponge with bigger holes that absorbs water quickly.

Is it possible to use styrofoam or masking tape to create tunnels before pouring the mixture? That would be faster and less messy instead of carving..

I have tried that before buddy, just make sure the mixture is strong enough, or they will crack when you remove the foam. The mixture in the video was not that good for that method cause they will break most of the time.
