What an excellent innovative way to setup a daily journal page without feeling encumbered by all the details that you would normally have to write manually. Very clever way of using ChatGPT! I would love to see a version of the shortcut for GoodNotes 6! Cheers!

@kirabera Thanks for the feedback and for watching! GoodNotes is an interesting idea. They don't have Shortcuts support but my thought was using an x-callback-url instead. You can sometimes use this but, in searching, it looks like they might not support it. Hard to contact them too. It'd be something like goodnotes6://x-callback-url/ and then variables like new, open or create with an ID that would open your document or create a new doc in a notebook. Looks like some folks have asked for x-callback-url support on their site but no response from them unfortunately.

Thanks for this Brandon. Like you, I've tried a lot of note-taking apps and I'm deciding between Notes and Bear -- leaning towards Bear at the moment because I like markdown. Your Bear Daily note looks great but the CharGPT section isn't recognized. I have the latest version of the ChatGPT app and the latest versions of Bear and Shortcuts. As far as you know, has something changed that removes this functionality or is there a "trick" to make this section of the Bear shortcut work? Thanks for sharing both the Bear and Notes shortcuts.

@scottcardais3560 Thanks for watching! Hmm...that is odd. I use that shortcut every day and it works fine. I did have an issue once after an upgrade where I had to log in to ChatGPT again. I'm using the free account on GPT. Are you on a free or paid version? I think when I first set it up, I did open ChatGPT and requested the prompts once to make sure it'd work.

@scottcardais3560 I was taking a look at the shortcut again. Maybe try removing ChatGPT 3.5 and leaving it blank. Under the Ask ChatGPT section where you ask for the unique daily prompts, you'll see "in a new chat using GPT-3.5". Tap on GPT-3.5 and clear that out. The shortcut I run every day is just like this shortcut but the only difference is that I'm not selecting 3.5. Hope that works!
