Make your own lovage salt
➡️ Ingredients:
350 g coarse sea salt
100 g lovage
2 glasses 235 ml
➡️ Preparation:
Harvest the herbs, wash them and dry them well. Roughly pluck the leaves and chop the stems.
Crush the herbs with salt (using a mortar, food processor or food processor).
Place on a baking tray with baking paper and leave to dry at 50 °C for around 30-60 minutes.
Clamp a wooden spoon into the oven door so that the moisture can escape.
Turn the salt every now and then.
Fill the dried lovage salt into jars.
The lovage salt will keep for at least 1 year.
