To sand out the inside of a PVC pipe fitting, you can take a dowel and glue some sand paper to it and take off a lot of material with it really quickly.

This is a really sweet build! Would it have been possible to put a thin magnet strip on the inside of the end caps? This way you wouldn't need a screw and could then just reopen them with a stronger magnet.

FYI they do make larger VOSS bottles as well as half that size in both Plastic and Glass. i used them for ORE tubes for airsoft games. also have used large FIJI bottles stripped and beaten up for what looks like old fashion plasma bottles too with the hose on it. taped it to the role players arm and loaded him on a Willy it was a Vietnam based game not 100% accurate for that but it worked well

your videos are pretty creative and helpful. i couldn't help but notice you made a transparent ooze type instead of the opaque light green version that was in the TMNT II movie. it occured to me perhaps something like a conditioner, or there's the light green slime putty like you find in almost any toy isle. just a suggestion, that's all.

Nice! The only thing that i would change is to put light in just one side (a stronger one probably ) and use the actual top of the bottle in the other, you could do a neuralizer from MIB (not sure if this was the right name , but is the thing that clean memories) or a Starlord mask

Hi, I'd like to follow your lead an recreate this awesome prop on my own. But as I live in Germany, its not that easy to get all the stuff you used. Hey man I just want to say thanks for this video for over a year now and I've been thinking of doing the professor from the movie for a cosplay and I was wanting to make and ooze canister myself but I wasn't sure of all I need needed but I did think of one thing of using the same water bottles that you use so that's really cool that you did that I might do a few other things different than you did but that's either because I don't have what you used or I want to use something else instead but hey thanks for making this video and I'll look forward to other props that you make in case I want to make it myself

Firstly plus one for a Pip-Boy. Secondly I would personally use something a little more translucent. Something that will hold the glow a little better and looks more viscous, that looks more like ooze. But thats just me. All in all top effort all round.

Another method is to use water but add in powered sugar and oil. This combination disperses light in a cool way. It's a movie special effect.
