I have to say it Amazing!!! We all appreciate the great paint jobs you create it really brings your build to the next level. The shadows by using flat clear , the chrome around the windows, the simple additions you make honestly make the biggest difference in making a vehicle appear as if you could climb into it and drive it . You definitely hit the mark and checked every box for that we thank you.

What a cool design, and the result was really nice! Very clear to see a lot of hours went into this. And the video was in my opinion probably your best so far, very well describing the process, and of course amazing to see your steady hand cut work. I did a couple paint videos, and I have to confess it gets ten times more difficult just because of the damned camera, ha ha!

Nothing less than a piece of art! Well done on that paintjob and well done on that video! Your presentation really has taken some steps up over the years! Two Questions 1: I paint a lot of my bodies on the outside and have a constantly problem with paint (tamiya ps) flaking off when masking over an existing (dry and cure) paint layer regarding all your tips with washing, scuffing etc. 2. Do you experience any structural issues when cutting out all you logos in the lexan? Especially on the rather thin side walls of the body. Greetings from Germany Marcus 🙏🏼
@hemistormrc2 жыл бұрын
Hi Marcus! How strange that your paint flakes off on the outside, are you spraying in a room temperature area? Structural problems never occur as I barely score the lexan, but it can be a risk in highly undercut body areas. In that case some drywall tape and shoe goo can be a good way to reinforce the area before running the car. Good luck and thanks!

Brilliant, I'd be frit scared of taking those masking sections off with point of a knife after all that work, I wonder how a toothpick would work?

Hey. Awesome video and paint job. Recently found your channel and love the content. I am interested in how you achieve such accuracy in your scalpel work - specifically deep inside the shell around top of windows etc? An area I struggle with. Keep it up dude. Love your work

I have a few bodies that have some sort of brown in their paint job and guess what, nobody makes brown paint for polycarbonate bodies. So I have to get brave and mix. Only problem is it's tough to color match for touch ups.
@hemistormrc2 жыл бұрын
Have a look at the proline paints and perhaps it’s easier to use a brush for your touch ups. Good luck!

awesome as always 🤘one thing ive always wondered is if you wash off the oil from your hands after doing all your cutting for logos and designs. or has it not been an issue?

Good question! I wash them regularly and try to not contaminate the clean lexan.
