This is so awesome. I can see the potential for people to make thier own cartridges now and sell them at conventions, with unique art work. I know I'm in trouble and its so awsome that you can just put the homebrew games on a physical medium also. You should do more of these videos with different games and make labels and stuff, it would be a cool video. I am so excited for this and I would not have even known it existed, if not for you.

I agree. There is nothing like playing on original hardware with original display that the system was meant to be played on. I still enjoy playing my classic games on an old CRT. Modern flat screens will not do justice to these games 👍

I got my TurboExpress for my 9th birthday. I actually didn’t get an actual TurboGrafx-16 console until I was old enough to drive. I picked one up at Funcoland the same day that The Phantom Menace came out, if memory serves me (so, I had at least one positive experience that day). Sadly, my TurboExpress no longer works. I assume it’s a capacitor situation. I intend to send it off to get fixed (fingers crossed), but it’s currently misplaced somewhere in my house. I almost bought a new one on eBay rather than look for mine. I talked myself down from that ledge and saved myself $600. I’ve actually got a decent stack of TG games as there was a two year period where any video game money I had went to that system. I had NES, GameBoy, Genesis, and later Sega CD, but I figured I could rent games for those systems; nobody near me seemed to rent out TG games. My favorites are still Alien Crush, Splatterhouse, and TaleSpin. I loved TaleSpin (I loved the whole Disney Afternoon, but I TaleSpin or Darkwing was my favorites) and the TG version is vastly superior to the Genesis one, in my opinion. It was kind of weird to only have the handheld. I saved batteries for when I was away from the house, so most of the time I used my AC adapter. The problem was there was a problem with the port on my TurboExpress; the male end of the plug had to be held at a certain angle to maintain contact or the system would turn off. So I put a rubber band around the console to hold the wire flush against it and couldn’t shift my left hand while playing. I remember sitting on my living room couch on the armrest because of the short adapter cord and beating Splatterhouse and TaleSpin with sweaty, cramped hands. Anything to not waste AA batteries! Coincidently, a couple weeks ago I found out the PS3 store was still live and after spending 30 minutes trying to load money into my PS wallet I picked up a few games, including Alien Crush. That inspired me to finally hook up my Turbo Grafx Mini. I preordered it when it came out, but it didn’t come with a power thingy. There was a semi official adapter from Hori, but it sold out quickly. I was afraid to use the one from my Genesis mini or Nintendo classic consoles, because I’d heard of people damaging their systems with the wrong adapters. I looked online, but I got conflicting info. Anyway, a few days ago, I redoubled my efforts and finally got what I feel was a satisfactory answer. I ordered an adapter that was recommended by several posters from Amazon, hooked this sucker up, and so far so good. So, anyway, long story short, this video seems like a fun coincidence, because I’ve been knee deep in TurboGrafx nostalgia for the past week. I also, happened to watch like 4 of your NES game rank videos over night. Great stuff. So, thanks!

That's pretty neat that there is Turbo Blaster HuCards made. I do wish there was a TurboGrafx-16 Maker created so that we can get some new homemade TurboGrafx-16 games similar to the NES Maker that was created. I know that Sarumaru did managed to create their own TurboGrafx CD game and can be played on the TurboGrafx CD.

If you are looking at a rom collection/HuCard list and you can’t find it, it’s under its Japanese name “Juoki” or “Juuouki”. It’s not great. Better than the SMS version but definitely worse than Genesis/Megadrive.

This way will give end users a chance to buy the product.if you want to buy in bulk, then create some kind of business accout where the criteria is different for a business owner rather than an end user. 😉 I understand it's a free capital however now I have no choice than to look for a scalper and pay premium. I would have no interest in HDMI, unless it supports HDMI-DVI for proper resolutions like 1600x1200 so you can use salvages HP2065 displays or similar.

This is a niche product made in small quantities. What you should worry about is China clones that are all over AliExpress and such. Luckily they tend to put very little care into quality so it's very obvious by either the price, shell, label or all of the above. Is it priced too good to be true? China clone.

Just in case any Polymega owners come asking, at this time the system will play these cards but only if they are unaltered ROMs. If you've altered a ROM from JP to English, or changed region, it won't work (or is unlikely).

These are cool but the price is a little too high. Why buy a re-programable Hucard for $26+shipping when you could easily just get a generic brand everdrive for $30 with free shipping that will play every hucard without the need to program it again.

It is pretty much impossible to own a TuroGrafx 16 or TurboDuo and not use roms or CD images. The games are way too expensive now.

The programmer/dumpers are totally out of stock and a lot of their carts are also out of stock so I wouldn't plan on ordering this stuff if you don't already own the programmer .

Would have been nicer if it was just an Arduino MEGA shield with open source Processing based programmer for Mac/Win/Linux. Then the base board is way easier to get and you won't be stuck to Windows..
