@@CraftyConceptswithErin Eastern Canada has lots of red, but here we are all shades of Gold and yellow. We do have Larch or tamarack trees which are pines that turn yellow and loose needles.

I love this paper pack as well. It is so gorgeous! I purchased this scrapbook Workshop and I have all of my papers cut according to the instructions, but I have not put it together yet. I am such a slow scrapbooker if I am trying to put together a page on my own versus using the ctmh instructions or a sketch. Thank you for everything that you share as I have learned a lot from you! I have seen at least a couple more of your videos that I want to watch! So, I am off to find those!

Yes. I definitely like that leaf patterned paper because the leaves are small & look dainty on the white background so that the end result is light & bright especially when a little gold or yellow is used just to lighten the darker shades plus that blue shade makes a great contrast.

Hey Erin, I have a question. I just got my tsquare ruler in and is mine backwards? It doesnt HOOK to the edge of the versamat. I have to turn it UPSIDE down in order to use the versamat as a guide edge. Im so confused as to why it is this way.

Hello Mallory, at first I was a little confused as well. In fact I didn’t really notice it until after I did the video highlighting the ruler. I thought it was a bit odd but after hearing from CTMH it made sense. They want everyone to be able to use the T-square ruler and not all crafters use versamats. Many use large glass mats and they wanted the ruler smooth on the bottom so it can slide over and work with every surface. Traditional T-square rulers have a lip on the bottom so they don’t sit flat which would make using the stitching guide holes and other features difficult. I am not a measurer and tend to just eyeball things so I just flipped the ruler over so it catches on the edge of the Versamat. When I do measure I am using the lines on the mat itself. You can still use the measuring aspect of the ruler it’s just upside down when flipped over. Another maker pointed out you can detach the T portion and place it underneath the ruler so measuring marks are right side up. I will clarify it in the next video because it is difficult to explain

That is a great question, and I did use it upside down. One side is flat and the other has a lip, if you want it to catch on the side of your versa mat you need to flip it upside down to get the straight edge. They made it flat on the backside so it can work on all surfaces. Many people craft on large glass mats so it needed to be flat. Hopefully that makes sense
