Actually, I think, for me, this is the most interesting lesson I have seen from you so far: I instantly could hear what I usually play how it would sound in this style (can you call that ‘style’?!?) and it sounded so much more intense. Now I only have to figure out how to translate it from your lesson to my fingers into that sound I imagined... 😅 but looking forward to it! Thank you so much!

I play the piano at my church and I've kind of run out of ways to set the mood. This gave me some more ideas, thank you! What I rely on the most is just playing at the intensity of whoever is singing or speaking. I sometimes pick the first chord in the progression that I'm playing and kind of mess with the notes in that scale while playing the other chords, if that makes sense.

Another great thing for practicing fingers dexterity while listening to a wonderful music. Even though at beginner level, had to try this immediately, and it works great, with occasional mistakes. The fourth one I couldn't play nearly as fast with single hand, but with both hands I can do it fast and easily switch from A to F to G to E scale. These may great tips for professionals who want to enrich their performance, but for beginners, this is gaining skill just by doing it by making you sound like playing a wonderful piece at the same time. Thank you. Love your videos.
