Amazing Home Made "F" Clamp.(long shaft)

Another tool build..this time i decided i would make my own "F" Clamp...having just spent a small fortune on clamps at my local stockist..i wondered just how hard it could be to make my own..not that hard at all !

Thank you very much. I’ve seen your video yesterday and made it today. I chose a bit to thick steel , 1cm, but it is strong. Tomorrow I’ll buy 0,5 cm and make some more. You are absolutely right, this clamps cost a fortune. Mine costed me around 2€ and with 0,5 steel it will cost me 1€. Had a bit problem with welding the screws but I think I need a thiner stick next time. Thank you for sharing.

What type of welder? I think seen it said tig but I am not familiar with welding. Is this hard to learn to use? Compared to other types of welding would this type be considered easier or is that the wrong description? Home handmade occasional use. Suggestions appreciated

Mig welding process used in this build...it's easy to learn and can be quite cheap for the home set up 👍

en términos de calidad y costos de producción, estoy muy contento con esto, no hay costosas herramientas de I + D y costosas para la producción en masa. Hacerte a ti mismo también es satisfactorio. Para mí esto cuesta menos de £ 3 :). gracias por tu comentario mi amigo

Eu usei 40 milímetros x 8 milímetros flat bar ... tanto quanto as medidas foram .. eu só fiz isso para atender às minhas necessidades. você pode fazer isso tão longo ou curto quanto quiser.
