What charming ladies! Beautiful mosaics, the designs are delicious. I would like a filler though - a grout to fill in the cracks. I don't like the hollow sections, dirt gets in and it looks unfinished. I wonder if non sandy grout would work?

Gosh, sorry I just saw this! Yes you could grout, I am not crazy about unsanded grout, I prefer a more rustic look, but given the scale of the work would be fine.

Sorry for delay in answering, was out of town. Yes you can leave tape on, but after awhile (days/weeks) some of the sticky adhesive may stay on the tile surface.

Hi thanks. very nice...you dont use grout? can I use epoxy resin 2 parts grout for this jewelry?

I prefer to not grout that is just me. Some folks do epoxy resin, which gives a smooth, finished surface. Really just a matter of your personal paste. Good luck Keep creating and thank you for being a fan!

Sorry I do not know where you can get in your country, witsendmosaic.com may be able to ship to you. An alternative is lime paste (used widely in Europe).

Sorry, I just saw your note (we had a technical challenge, back on track now). To answer your question we do not "seal" the pieces. I really prefer the "relationship" between the mosaic material and the light. I know some folks do seal, think they use a resin. Keep creating!

can air dry clay be used instead of epoxy clay ? i am allergic towrds epoxy....

Air-dry clay is NOT an adhesive, I don't think that will work. May be worth your contacting the makers of Apoxy Sculpt, Aves Studio. They can best describe exactly what product is composed of, and wearing gloves is essential, it is not like 2 part epoxym it is a very special product.
