I was extremely disappointed MaKenzie didn't make it to the finals. Voices like this don't happen very often. I'm sorry but keeping it real? - I think it was because of her size. This world of ours is incredibly superficial, appearance oriented and judgmental, especially when judging women. I speak from experience. Only the blind auditions will get you in on just your voice alone. She will have a great career anyway. But will not be a superstar unless she drops the weight. I would venture to speculate that Jennifer Hudson thinks so too. She is living proof.

I have a feeling though shes going to be like Jennifer making it big time because I remember feeling this way when she was eliminated from the voice. @@chococatrocxs I can totally see that. Her belting technique needs some work. The bigger the notes, the more problems she has to really hit the high notes in full voice. Jhud is the perfect coach but it's just not enough time to fix the issue while she's on the show, because the coaches do not spend that much time with the contestants. But her runs are amazing.. she just needs some coaching

@@assassindancer914 I thought as much. It's a shame. Even so, it was still a great platform for MaKenzie and Kymberli. The national exposure got their names out there and they picked up thousands of fans--many of whom were just as upset as I was I'm sure. I have a feeling they'll be just fine in the industry. Many times it's the ones who don't win who wind up having the most success. JHud is the perfect example of that; she didn't win American Idol but went on to win an Oscar, Grammy, and many other awards and is now helping others to succeed!
