Yeah i feel like he just doesn't like his old music that much anymore, he also doesn't play goodbye weekend live which is a damn shame

I think some of it might be that he did some of this with Alex Calder (I think Calder mostly played drums). Calder had some allegations against him and I think that's why maybe it's a bit of a sore subject for him? Honestly though he might just not want to play this music. People's taste change. This is probably close to 15 years ago that he wrote this stuff. Half of his life ago.

@@user-dc7um4pr3f To my knowledge Calder only really played drums on Ying Yang, and maybe some other bits like the redone version of Lasagna Sunset. The vast majority of Makeout Videotape's stuff was done solely by Mac including this album, so I think it's more of a case that he just doesn't identify with his older material anymore and doesn't have an interest in playing it. Can hardly blame him really, most artists tend to not like to dwell upon their older material if they're coming out with new things all the time.
