you plugged the mic cable into the channel 2 jack and then the camera cable into the channel 1 jack. If you want audio from the mic to go to the camera didn't you want to plug the camera cable into the output jack on the mixer? And why did you need the mixer? Just plug the mic directly into the camera, unless you were just using the setup as an example.

After i connect a mic to the mixer, how do i connect it to my laptop for the audio from the mic to come thru to the laptop for fb live audio?

I tried to record (in my phone) a mix of a microphone (tried both input #1 and #2 ) and audio ( from another phone) but the microphone is not being recorded. It seems it doesn't come out from the output. I played around with all the tunes but same result. I tested the microphone alone in a different setup and it worked fine, I don't think there is a problem with my mic. Any idea what might be causing it?
