I love Law’s honesty in sharing the story about once not wanting to dress black celebrities b/c of how his old agency made him feel! That was real! Side note: it was nice that Chef H Woo Lee was invited to the table too, but it felt odd having him sit there but not participate in the discussion. Maybe for next time, have the chef participate!

We have the power, and we have the money. The problem is that we don't support one another enough. Law Roach can dress Zendaya in black designer lines. Sergio can help introduce new black designers. There are so many of us and we are so talented. We control thus industry we just don't use our power. They literally steal our ideas and throw it on the runway everyday. I wish those of you who are already in the industry and accepted would see the power you actually have.
