I would recommend ‘doming’ the heads of the copper rivets…makes it more finished looking…..That said….beautiful bag….

Was your long strap 60 inches on this bag? I don’t see that cut of leather on the buckle guy site being long enough to cut a 60 inch strap without cutting diagonal across the piece

This looks so cool! Would it be possible to make it from a 2oz leather? Or maybe glue two layers together? I bought a large piece of 2oz to make shoes but it doesn't stretch much so I'm looking for another way to use it

Nice bag! I like the fact that you explain what your doing. I watch videos of great work but they are playing music and I wonder why they are doing things. Have you done a small tool bag. I want to make one for my girlfriend to keep some tools in at her mother's house. Something about a foot long about a foot around. Zipper diwn the middle with two handles. I'm not at the point where my designs come out well yet.

Would work fine no problem at all. Probably a lot easier to bend the sides into place.

OLD LEATHER SMITH here. Very Nice Job, U made it easy 2 understand 4 beginners. Suggestion, Bee's Wax on your punches and chisels and they will go in 2 and out of your leather easier. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃

It is linked but the green leather Vachetta veg tan . Looks like he didn't split it at all so it's thick . And it seems to be sold only by the shoulder .
