This video couldn’t have come at a better time. My boyfriend broke up with me three weeks ago, and I was blindsided. It was on a Tuesday, 9 PM at night and I’ve just been grieving since. It’s strange how you can go from best friends to strangers with someone, in an instant. It was so sudden and we’ve had no contact since that night. It’s hard because the one person I want to talk to about it all is HIM. Yet, it’s just me to sort out all the pieces that have been left. I will say, each day it’s getting better. You have great timing though to ask that question because it's been 4 months and I unfollowed him yesterday morning! And I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. My thoughts about unfollowing were "he'll think it's petty" or "It'll blow any chances of us getting back together" or "I gave in before he did" etc. It's not about that though. it's freeing. It gives you permission to fullyyyy let go and move on. Which YOU deserve. Don't let him stay on your socials when he's not even actively trying to make things right. The fact that he could do that ao suddenly just shows he didn't truly love you or respect you. Typically when it happens suddenly, it's often because of cheating. If anything, it's a blessing that it's happened now ratber than later. This just shows we shouldn't consider out partners our entire world and should place just as much emphasis on family relstionships, friends, career, hobbies, faith etc I hope you heal

The way your were talking about the breakup etc is SO relatable to me. I was with someone for 8 years similar thing then all of a sudden it was over and I never saw it coming. It literally is like they just died and you grieve like crazy. I've never felt pain like it and hope to never again but it is hard to go from all to nothing like that person may aswell be dead to me they don't exist in my life anymore and it's crazy, maybe scary too that people can just disappear like that.. its hard but like you say you're seeing things for as they are now and you will move forward and upwards for that matter! Going through a similar situation right now!!! Its so hard when you’ve been together since you were young because it gets to a point where you feel like you can’t really remember yourself or your life without them. It’s a different type of loss, who you were leaves too. It’s very sad honestly. It might be worse when you both aren’t happy but you love each other and are too codependent to leave so you are just in the cycle of splitting up and getting back together. I painfully relate to everything you’ve said and my heart goes out to you. I’m a year on from my trauma, I was engaged to my partner of 6 years, we’d been together from the age of 20, and I found out that 90 days after proposing in the most incredible, heartfelt way, he started cheating on me. I’d planned the wedding, chosen my dress, he instigated and encouraged talk about the wedding with me and family and friends. I was completely and utterly blindsided and all but destroyed when I found out by complete accident. And it’s hard because like you, I look back at the relationship and it was wonderful, I can’t be like ‘oh there were signs’ because there weren’t. It really is a form of loss, a grieving process, and a whole lot of everything else, but I can say with certainty I’m a much stronger person now and I massively back myself as a person, I know my worth. Stay strong queen 🖤

Well at first its awful and feels like end of the world but then with time in space of 1 year, 5 years and then 10 years you gonna think its the best thing that happen. Focus on your own growth, because sometimes in relationship you can lose way putting yourself as priority. Listen to some audiobooks like Eckhart Tolley, Don Miguel Ruiz , Jacqueline Hurst, Mark Manson great people that shine different light on life, and listening to audiobooks its like therapy itself. I’m heart broken too. My ex broke up with me for no reason after 6 years. He said he wanted to go on a second date with a girl he’d just met. He broke my heart last august too, and we spent this whole year trying to get back together . Working on it everyday and he dumped that on me.
