I had no idea emus were farmed in the US. They are native to Australia and nowhere else, so I find it crazy they are being farmed overseas. Also, if you want to read up on something crazy/interesting about emus, you should google the Great Emu War 😆

I remember the first time I ever saw an emu was actually out in the country here in the heart of the US in Nebraska. Just driving along a dirt road surrounded by corn and cows when all of a sudden I see giant terrifying birds waltzing around in the clearing in a fenced-off area.

Oh I have such mixed opinions about Colourpop. I love their Just my Luck palette and the Main Squeeze palette, but I have a bunch of individual shimmers that are kinda garbage. I have a set of Bye Bye Birdie blush and highlight sticks, and I love the highlight stick and hate the blush stick (always lifts my foundation). Some of their Lippie Stix are creamy and nice, other colors are patchy and dry. I could go on and on, but does any one else feel this way about Colourpop???

Bronte Roberts actually, yes. I frequently get Colourpop items in beauty subscription boxes and often find the quality to be inconsistent from one item to the next. I’ve never actually purchased any of their products or collections, so I can’t speak to the differences there, but I have noticed it in individual pieces that come with Ipsy, BoxyCharm, etc.
