The Elf lip stains build up under the stopper. When I popped it out, there was a ton of product up against it. So I scooped it off, back into the base, put the stopper back in, and it's like new. Something to check if you have this but feel like it ran out really fast.

For my combination skin Paula`s choice BHA was the only thing that cleared my chin. I used to use acne pimple patches and Murad pimple cream almost every day and I kept getting pimples. Only after PC BHA, it all cleared out in 2 weeks. My skin is the best it has been.

The elf lip stains 100% dry out fast! Happened to the two I had, never heard anyone else talk about that. I won’t be buying again either

I found that once I really scraped the applicator around, it still had so much product. But the shape is just so odd, it's not easy.

Paula's Choice does a Calm 1% BHA gel which has worked wonders for me! All the good effects of BHA but gentler on my sensitive skin.

I wouldn't think that PC would be good for anyone using Tret unless it was extremely targeted. It does cause redness pretty bad for me.

Yes, Kelly, the Saie lip oil does smell, and I've only had mine since December and half of the product has gone and I've not used it that much. I won't repurchase.

For me It would be any essence powder type of product. They're great, they perform nicely, last nicely on my skin BUT I have yet to have one that doesn't brake apart, the packaging never ever lasts and I'm sick of that, I don't even treat them harshly or anything, just opening and closing them. So I've decided once I'm done with what I have left, I'm not buying any product on that format from them

I haven’t tried the new elf blushes buuut from what it sounds like it could be a dupe for the saie blushes! I have the peach shade from saie and it has decent staying power, definitely not as much as rare beauty. I do love both for different reasons

Totally agree on the ELF blush that it has no wear time. By the time I finish my makeup it has faded. I love the Juvias place ones. Those are the best. However I do love the Kayali pistachio and Lychee perfumes. They smell divine on me.

Kayali’s pistachio is one that needs to macerate. After it sits in your collection it definitely becomes sweeter.

Like you, my skin tends to be dry. In the rare occasion that I see/feel a pimple forming I use the Paula’s Choice Exfoliate. It’s done the trick every time. No pimple!!!! Try it literally just on pimples and hopefully that works for you too.

Between Rare Beauty, Juvia's Place and Elf liquid blushes version i would go with Rare, Juvia's Place it was actually tooo pigmented and elf has let me down on this ones! Also for europeans please check Made by Mitchell liquid blushes !

I was so sad because the Paula’s Choice exfoliated caused SO much irritation. I had to lay off all of my cyclical products for over a week until my skin went back to normal. I had high hopes but I think that, like you, I’m too sensitive for it.

PC just released a new exfoliating toner with lactic acid that would suit your sensitive skin much better. The thing with skin care to see results are consistent use for up to six months. For you as a creator receiving PR, I get that might be hard to stay consistent. I absolutely agree that the elf lip stains dry up fast. 💕

I have combo leaning oily skin, and the PC 2% is a holy grail for me! I use it every other day (with retinol on the opposite days). It keeps my pores clear and has helped me keep fine lines at bay (I'm 56).

I used up and repurchased the elf lip product in Pinkies Up! I took the stopper out of my first one and got a lot more usage after it initially seemed like it was empty.

id have to disagree with the elf lip stains !! once i took the stopper out there was a ton of more product in it, it has literally extended its life by at least 3 months, and the stain lasted 8h through a heavy, greasy meal abd several lipgloss reapplications !! i think the main trick is applying the stain before any other makeup and let it sit and develop while you conplete the other steps before you even touch it !! love the video :))

I like the Paula's Choice BHA but also recently tried their new AHA liquid (mandelic/lactic). I also use tret and the AHA is pretty gentle. The BHA is great for congestion but the AHA is better for dry texture.

Summer Fridays lip oil was sold out at my local sephora but they still had the testers out. I swatched "rosewood nights" the deep berry brown tinted one, and it sheered out to almost nothing on the back of my hand.

Try the new Paula’s Choice Mandelic Acid with Lactic acid liquid exfoliant. I think it would suit your skin type better. Salicylic acid is better for oily skin.

The curlsmith curl cream in the orange squeeze tube packaging. Can’t remember the exact name. Love the product. Smells great. Makes my hair super soft and shiny and pretty. Pretty sure it breaks me out. Which is unfortunate.

I can't use the Paula choice bha. It really hurts my skin. I can only use the glow recipe watermelon toner with bha for bha. I think i might have an allergy or something to salicylic acid.

I really wanted to like the PC exfoliator but holy cow does it smell terrible, I had to check the lot number to make sure it wasn't expired. I have fairly dry skin and it just made my skin more irritated. I think considering the price and results, I prefer the Good Molecules overnight exfoliating treatment.

The bha liquid exfoliant is my favorite! It erases my pores. Sorry it didn’t work for you. I tend to over moisturize and I think that helped with any irritation. I use it every other day.

I mixed the peach perfect and coral shades on the back of my hand. It turned out great The coral blush was VERY bright and the Peach perfect balanced it out so I found it wearable on Mt light skintone.

PC BHA 2% liquid defoliator is really best for those with more oily skin. I have dry skin and somewhat sensitive, but I also deal with millia/milia (small hard bumps) on my under eyes and the PC BHA helps to prevent them from developing as it helps the skin exfoliate properly. I use it on my under eyes once a day (evening) and follow with a really good moisturizer. I never use it anywhere else on my face because it’s too drying.

I have extremely sensitive skin (can't even use 0.025% tret) and I LOVE the PC 1% sensitive BHA from their calm line. It makes my skin feel amazing without irritating it at all. They sell minis on the site too if you want to try 😊

Just got on here to say this very thing! I also could not use the standard PC 2% BHA solution (irritated my v sensitive skin) but I LOVE the 1% BHA from the PC CALM line. It's a lovely cream-gel texture and so soothing. Have used without any issues for over a year now. The mini is a great way to test it out and it lasts for a long time.

The elf lip stains are patchy and don't last that long. U have the fiery one and had the berry one. Got rid of the berry because it was not it for me. Will use up the fiery one but never would repurchase.

I think the PC BHA has more to do with oiliness than sensitivity - I'm very sensitive and very oily (great combo, lol) and I get great results without irritation using it daily with a retinol. If you don't have excess oil, it's probably going to be too harsh and not helpful

I made my very first order from ELF quite recently. Love the new tubing mascara; love the $2 lipliner; cannot stand the smell of the Hydrating Core Lip Shine (along with it not being a shine AT ALL); imagine the smell of an un-rinsed cleaning cloth that didn’t even get wrung out. And it doesn’t dissipate. Maybe I got a bad one - who knows.

I love the elf lip stains but I feel like the packaging is totally flawed! The doe foot can't reach all the product bc of the width of the packaging -- I had to completely bend the doe foot to get more product, otherwise I'd be dipping in 100 times to get full coverage on my lips. The only two makeup products that I like but I won't repurchase are Savvy Minerals Natural Organic Shimmer Veil Highlighter in Diamond Dust and Too Faced Lip Injection in the Pop The Cork kit. The Savvy Minerals one I use as a powder and highlighter and every time I wear it, it comes out too glowy and it causes me to sneeze and cough even when I apply it. The Too Faced Lip Injection in Pop The Cork kit burns my lip and is a painful tingly which is why I like the clear and original one more and would prefer the Maybelline Lifter Glosses and Elf Plumping Lip Glosses since they don't cause the tingly pain. Tarte's Sugar Rush Lip Sip Vegan Lip Oil is a total repurchase for me and same with the Well People Lush Lip Tinted Oil. Both of them looks pretty over a liquid lipstick and lip liner. They're so beautiful to wear.
