It's inspiring that even when you like something, if you're not using it or have something similar to it you still declutter it. It makes so much sense. This video made me want to get the Nabla cutie palette because it looked so nice, but I really don't need it so I'll skip. Thanks for motivating me. (I also need to get rid of some lipsticks, I still have two of the Urban Decay lipsticks in the round purple tube from the collection before the collection you just decluttred from!).

I love the fact that you are moving away from the super sparkling highlighters. With mature skin, I have stayed with a more understated look, using my favorite highlighter, the Elf Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls. I remember my husband saying, " I like how your cheeks glow," so I was sold on it! And again like you, if I wear a shimmery blush, I skip the highlighter step. Maybe a more natural look is becoming more trendy, which it certainly is when it comes to foundation/skin tints!

I somehow amassed a huge collection over the past couple of years. Redonkulous. Now I routinely declutter and put it in a box. If I dont miss any of the products in a few weeks, they get donated. Some are still brand new. Trying to be smarter with purchases.

I was able to pass off three of my eyeshadow palettes to my sister this weekend. I had 20, now i have 17. It's a VERY nice feeling to be under 20 on palettes. That is my limit anyway. No need to buy a bunch of palettes rn to replace them, but it's very nice to have the space if i see one I want.

Just a for keeping single shadows ... Cuz I had same issue they used to get lost or misplaced ! Then I found this clear acrylic organizer that had 3 little compartments and now I put my single shadows in one , my liquid shadows / liquid glitters in one, and then glitter + glitter toppers in last one 🤗

I have three of the Urban Decay lipsticks, and all three shades I have are not in the new formula. I was considering repurchasing them because mine are getting old, but I am just going to hang on to my current ones until they actually seem to go bad.

In theory,I want all the cutie palettes...but I just don't wear neutrals. I have the newest ones & am actually keeping the neutral analog but decluttered the midnight blue one. I duped it with wayyyy better singles. 50 is my palette limit. If I buy one, one's gotta go.

You don't need to declutter that often as an average consumer unless you have a shopping addiction (decluttering might not be helpful then though, without applying additional measures alongside it can contribute to the problem trapping you in an endless cycle of decluttering and binge-spending). What I started to do is when I try something new and I can tell I don't quite like it or I already have other items I like better and reach for over it after a month or two I will sell it online or pass it onto someone else. It's best to get rid of stuff like that fairly quickly. Other than that it's good to do a rough look - through every now and then to see what you are not using and either putting them in daily rotation or decluttering if you know the reason why you don't so it's pretty much a given that keeping it would be wasteful.

Good declutter! I had to skip your ads because the first ones that popped up were actually longer than the video. The first one was 60 (!) minutes, and the second was 12 minutes. I don’t know how much control you have over the ads, but in case you can do anything about that, I wanted you to know.
