MY problem with this is that As/Is chose Tan. There are plenty of makeup haters besides "butch" lesbians. No disrespect to Tan, I agree that she doesn't deserve the hate. It's so unfair in my eyes. If Tan was even a tad bit more feminine it's fair to assume the people around her would react so differently. BDAYZ Gyan obviously doesn't need it because she looks beautiful without with her gorgeous skin. But I for example suffer from acne and I feel so insecure going out without make up because everyone is staring and thinking that I don't wash my face. I bet you look better than you think you do. Aside: A lot of people who can't eat foods with gluten in them are actually not intolerant of gluten. Rather, they are intolerant of the proteins that have developed in gluten grains through decades of interbreeding and genetic modification. My ex, for example, couldn't handle wheat but could eat certain strains of organic spelt. Another gluten intolerant friend told me they have no issues with Red Fife, an old variety of wheat. Unless you've got celiac disease, you might want to considering looking into this if you haven't already. Either way, kudos to you for sharing your gluten-free recipes.

Dave Michaelson Haha thanks :) Yes, you're right. Although gluten intolerance is quite complicated and the science just isn't there yet... there's so much contradictory information out there. I've read a big deal about it and also talked to my doctors, and it turns out most people only know the basics (if even that). Yup, people react to the two proteins glutenin and gliadin that only react when hydrated and form gluten. And different grains have different forms of gluten, I'm usually fine with oats and corn but I know people who react to them too. And I also noticed I reacted a lot more in Australia than I do in Europe. I find it all fascinating to be honest. But at the end of the day I just tell people to do what makes them feel better. Whether it's the gluten or something else affecting them. (Well, actually I tell them they should talk to a professional but as I mentioned above there aren't that many that know what they're talking about anyway). Watching it I agree, but as a girl who wears makeup almost every day, I understand. It becomes a very habitual step of our morning routines, and even though it may not seem like a big deal, it feels really strange and almost like we're forgetting something if we don't wear it, like if you left the house without pants on or something. And similar to pants, because people see us with it on every day, obviously they're going to notice when we don't wear it.

I don't see why people can't seem to see the positive light to make up. it actually make you love yourself more and realise your best features of your face instead. It boost your confidence not in a way that you cake yourself with makeup, but it shows effort and highlights your best features

I personally prefer them both without makeup, but that's just my opinion. Gyan seriously doesn't need all that foundation and stuff; her natural skin is so beautiful, and wearing all of that on a daily basis must be terrible for your skin, but I do understand wearing mascara and lipstick and stuff. As for Tan, it must be extremely hard to go from wearing no makeup at all to a full cake face. I wonder how badly her skin broke out.

The foundation I use actually faded my acne scars and now I break out maybe twice a year, as opposed to constantly when I wore other foundations. I wear it every single day. You'd be surprised what skin-friendly, plant-based, mineral-oil-free makeup can do for you!
