I just turned 71. I started intermittent fasting in August, after seeing a picture of myself at my granddaughter's birthday. Wake up call!! I reduced my eating window to 8 hours and watch my carbs and sugar. I have lost 17 lbs and I feel so much better, definitely reduced inflammation. I am dealing with a husband with advanced cancer, so my cortisol level is still rather high, but daily walking has helped. So helpful to go over all the products you used and hear your opinions. I agree about the skin tint formula. I used to love a skin tint on no makeup days when I was younger but now at 78 (who me?) I need more coverage. I use KVD balm and love it. You looked good today even tho the tint didn’t add much. You added enough other products to improve the look. Elf shadow sticks are great especially if you use the brown or blue as a liner. Subtle and effective. Thanks again for really helpful and fun to watch videos. I just updated my picture. I love the complexion rescue, but the coverage is pretty light. I add a few drops of matte foundation or the Misha BB cream. It helps with the coverage and staying power but you still get the glow..

Great video as usual! I’ve started replacing my Elf makeup with products made by other companies because of where Elf is manufactured. It’s a little time consuming to look up country of origin but to me it is worth it. I do have a choice of what I put on my skin. I love the Elf Matte eye pencils especially the color Thrift Shop which is the one you used….never creases…skip the ones that are not matte though! My solution for the skin tints is to mix in a drop or 2 of a foundation for better coverage..like the Revlon Illuminance!

I love Perbelle CC cream under my foundation. I works beautifully to cover my age and spots from my "laying in the sun days." A little goes a long way. And it has SPF 43.

Love your channel!! My favorite face coverage product by far is RMS Beauty SuperNatural Radiance Serum. Covers well and is radiant but not too dewy, plus cleaner ingredients. Evened out tone that looks like healthy skin (even on my 57 yr old self). Perfection!!!

I don't like skin tints or tinted sunscreen. Not only is it hard to find the right shade for my pale skin, my clothes always get stained (probably user error). My everyday look is a little corrector, concealer, and dab of True Match foundation mixed with my moisturizer or sunscreen.

As I understand it, the tinted sunscreens are usually mineral sunscreens, and the tint is added to address the "white cast" problem that causes so many people to object to them. You hit the nail on the head about the stains! They are awful to get out.

If you are ever looking for new ideas, maybe passing on your wisdom about what it was like for you, since you turned 50, since your channel is about over 50… Maybe you can pass on some wisdom and experience that can help us out going through some really rough times.

Absolutely agree with both comments…at 62 & having gone through a divorce (after 16yrs of marriage), the best healing comes from time, which of course we don’t want to hear 😝 & focusing on self love & positivity, I found audio books on both to really help me with moving forward, (reading actual books always makes me fall asleep), helped to remind me I’m not the only one with the feelings I had & there really IS light at the end of that dark period. The tears, sadness & good days too are all part of the journey forward to a happy, healthy place, remember you’re grieving a loss & all the emotions we feel are what brings on the healing… blessings for your journey…

@@sherryryniak4506 totally agree, I lived in a foreign country during my separation/divorce, so no Mum or sister nearby to support or advise me. I left my vindictive ex & rented a bedroom in a stranger's home until I found my own place to rent nearby the lady I rented from, because she was wonderful. My sadness was not leaving my husband but my daughter. It broke my heart, and still does. He was the one financially able to keep the home my daughter was growing up in, close to her friends, I was not & didn't know the laws of that country until it was too late!! I applied for custody, after 3 months, because the ex sold our home and moved in with a woman miles away. I was told that a parent cannot get custody after 2 months of them leaving the family home because that's classed as desertion, but I fought this for months, not totally to no avail because my case got the law changed in that country to help others in the future. I cried almost every night for 5-6 years, but life goes on & there are good days between the sadness. My daughter is a beautiful young woman both inside and out, with her own business and 2 adorable children of her own. I'm so proud of her and we love each other deeply. That's what's important in life.

Hi Kimberly!! This skin tint really offers little to no coverage, it looks pretty on you for a light casual look. I am considering the Bobby Brown foundation stick to use as a concealer; I bought a Loreal foundation stick and WASN¨T impressed at all. It doesn´t really cover like a concealer should; gonna give it a really good try and see if my feelings change. Really like that Elf blush on you!! LOVE your channel Kimberly, you inspire all of us. Hi Kimberly. Each video of yours that I watch where you use the fluffy brush to blend blend blend I love the effect it has on the overall look of your makeup, but I forget to try it on the odd time I wear makeup. I might go place my fluffy brush on the centre of my table to help me remember haha. The hourglass dim light is on my wish list, so pretty! Great video, thank you for the tips.

I'm right there with you, skin tints do nothing for me. The Hourglass one is good, but it's more like a lightweight foundation vs most tints, which is why I get more coverage. I'm not a fan of the Jones Road eyeliner, it wears off quickly.

Morning Kimberly, I kinda feel the same about the skin tints. I just wear my tinted sunscreen and get the same results. I wanted to tell you that my Walmart in Georgia, has all of the Elf highlighter/ blush combos on clearance for $.75 . I had to buy several for stocking stuffers.

I thought the before and after of your skin with the color tint from Bare Minerals was nice. Your finished face was a subtle radiance that looked natural. At 69, a retired hair salon owner back in the day and living in south Fla at the beach all that time…the color tints for the face are the way I go. Anything heavier and I feel my face is suffocating….the humidity! Granted it does not cover. Agree there. But I use those with a spf and accept the fact it’s not total coverage. And I’m okay with that. I liked all your products! Thank you for sharing!

Please try the bareminerals serum foundation… it’s very different and I went from thinking it was weird and gimmicky with a funny consistency to being completely in love!! It’s all I’m reaching for these days! It’s really like skincare and leaves such a pretty finish. Plays well with the betaglucan moisturizer we both love so much!! Again… the texture and technique is off putting at first. For years have used and own the whole bare minerals line.

Good video, thanks. First, on my screen, including full-screen, the bare minerals slip tint looked good on you. If it doesn't do what you want, though .... I tried the Saie slip tint this past summer and liked it a lot (age 71), but I'm not much of a makeup user. Second, I love the Physician's Formula bronzer and have used it in the summer for years now. Glad someone else also likes it. Third, do you ever report back on how the makeup lasts during the day, especially in Florida (humidity)? I've discovered that unfortunately, makeup that can look great just after I put it on doesn't look so great 4 or 5 hours later.

Like you, have on my skincare and SPF, so don't get the tint thing unless they're for younger skin with less "doo dads" as you call them. I have used Complexion Rescue for several years but this last year, it doesn’t seem the same! I’m the same age as you…I suspect a formula change😢. Anyway, I will no longer buy it bc it is expensive to not work well! Physicians Formula butter bronzer never disappoints 🙂 I just ordered that gel liner bc my urban decay is almost gone. Please do a collaboration with youtube makeup artist Nikol Johnson, whose target audience is women over 40. In the past she's done makeup on other influencers. She is in Florida. She just released her new makeup line, made in Italy, best quality, great packaging, not cheap but not outrageous either. I just bought nearly $200 worth during her Black Friday sale and love it. Threw out most of my old makeup afterward.

I’ve been trying to find out how to keep eyelashes curly. I tried many things including using an eye lash primer before mascara. I curl my lash, use mascara and they are curled only for a few seconds then they go back straight out. So many content creators have the prettiest curled lash’s and I can’t figure out how to keep mine curled. It’s not that they aren’t long enough. Thanks for any tips.

Don’t you think that the skin tint foundation is meant for a younger skinned audience and not for us older gals (I am 70). They get us with the marketing because we would prefer to have a light foundation on. The challenge is that many of us have things to cover up and those products are not built for that function. Too bad! Are there foundations that are lightweight that cover, that is the question.

I don’t know how you can stand the stickiness of City Beauty lip gloss! I relented and bought the clear and one color since it was buy one get one, but I regret it. I tried putting it on very lightly and it still sticky! Yuck!!
