Honestly when I first watched tati's videos I thought she was really harsh on some products for nothing, over the months as iv been watching her she's truly now one of the most realist beauty gurus out there! She's always so so so honest, even when products have been given to her for free! She deserves a million subs, most beauty gurus have turned fake and un-trustable unfortunately :( so I always tend to watch her videos waaaay more, you go Tati!❤️

Suggestion for the makeup you didn't like. Donate it to a women's shelter or transitional living center. They are always in need of things to help women feel better about themselves especially those who are in the process of rebuilding their lives. It would still get used and bless someone else at the same time. Just a thought because they do those type of drives for donations where I live.

For the first product (Laura geller) since the eye shadows are baked, to get more intensity and pigmentation dampen your brush and then use the shadows. Also, when the shadows are being made they are actually set outside in the sun which is why they are called baked... this pulls out all the moisture and leaves behind all the minerals while also giving that domed look. I would definitely give this pallet another try by dampening the brush. It may change your mind

I love your videos... But DONATE DONATE DONATE instead of dumping them in the trash... There's women out there with nothing. Why not sanitizing them (like makeup artist do) and donating some to a women's shelter or an organization that help women get ready for interviews. The beauty of makeup is that sometimes what didn't work for you might work for someone else, specially if they have nothing. And maybe then share with us how to donate our gently used (or new) makeup. Just saying :-)
@cherishcollins70369 жыл бұрын
+babycoqui That would be a good idea, but she said she likes to keep them for reference and comparison to other products she reviews.(0.58) :)

+babycoqui I've looked into donating gently used makeup myself but I couldn't find a single women's shelter or organization that accepts opened & sanitized products :( Maybe it is the same in her area. I would donate SO MUCH if I could but I guess it is too much of a liability and safety issue
@ilovemyeiff9 жыл бұрын
+babycoqui Unfortunately most women's shelters will not take used make-up products, even if the products are gently used. I have tried. The products have to be brand new, in packaging.

I found this video helpful because It saves us time and money. It is also informative because you explain precisely why the product is not good along with your expectations for that particular product. You are fair in your criticisms because you balance them with positive alternatives (vs. just hating on an entire brand).

You can go ahead and put Nikki's palette on that list. We all know it was bs

kookie russell 😂😂😂💯
@Esellajessica7 жыл бұрын
kookie russell It was the very first "expensive" palette I had bought myself- haven't bought anything else since, I feel partially ripped off. I got two or 3 useable shadows, two blushes, and a light contour.The rest are chalky and patchy :/

Esellajessica i got one for free because my parents are friends with hers, and it was really dissapointing indeed. I'm glad that I didn't pay for it

Betty Brown im thinking maybe they were really powdery or didnt blend well
@AthkielKenobi8 жыл бұрын
Betty Brown if you look closely, some shadows where patchy or needed build up to show color, plus the powdery thing she said. Not surprised, someone told me that Too Faced is not consistent with their products and you can get a good palette or a crappy one.

Use the Laura geller one wet, amazingly opaque, my favorite eyeshadow pallette

I have the Laura Geller one and it works absolutely beautifully for me. Mine is pretty pigmented over all. I've hit pan on all the shades

I have a huge huge bad bin. I don't know WHY I keep it all. Every now and then I go through it and reminisce about how bad it was, lol. I just can't seem to part with my crappy makeup. 😂

i wish she would have atleast explained how the la girls palette was bad she just kind of said "this is a bad palette" and moved on
@kayleighd.54578 жыл бұрын
she said it was cheap. but my reason is the colors don't really catch my eye. they just seem bleh and boring and tati does like more pigmentation in her shadows so maybe they weren't pigmented enough.

+Anna Russell she gives very honest opinions on other products in her other videos, to the point of them being harsh. if she doesn't like a product, it probably just didn't work for her.

+Lydia Gleason with the swatches, she probably tries to pick up as much of the product as possible to show us a true color swatch. she mentions that a lot of them aren't very pigmented. if they're not pigmented, you can't just run your finger over it 2-3 times and get a good payoff.
