I’m 35 years old. I’ve had this product for 2 months, using it daily/every other day, and it’s still going strong (haven’t had to replace the sérum yet.) I’m absolutely in LOVE with the results. Completely blown away by them, in fact. My hyperpigmentation is almost non-existent, marks/spots/acne scars have diminished drastically, and my skin is better than it’s ever been in my life. It’s 1000% worth every penny.

@@victorial6314 Spending $600 on something that could restore your self confidence is not obscene or anything. If it sounds that ridiculous to spend your "hard-[earned] money" on, it just means you don't need it as much. And that's fine. But nobody should feel bad for their own priorities. Many women spend more than $600 on makeup every year. Others spend that much on a video game console alone, or $120+ a MONTH just to use Adobe Photoshop these days, or going on dates, or staying a single night in a fancy hotel. How people spend their hard earned money aside from personal responsibilities only has to make them happy, it doesn't have to make sense to the rest of us ;) thank God.

Your negative comment is disingenuous because you clearly didn't look very hard to see how well they show their clear side-by-side results. @@DebraWeite - Well, you spurred me to go look for myself and you are mistaken. The ingredients are listed in order of their potency and Sodium Hydroxide is not the first ingredient, but is included. Here are the ingredients: Mineral pigments: These pigments camouflage and color-correct hyperpigmentation on contact. 5% Niacinamide: This potent form of vitamin B3 and multi-tasking skin care active is reportedly proven to fade the appearance of dark spots over time. Propylene glycol: This ingredient delivers essential, long-lasting, skin-supportive moisture and is known to help boost the effectiveness of niacinamide. Sodium hydroxide: This inorganic compound balances the pH of the serum to the skin. Acrylates copolymer: This polymer stabilizer maintains the structure and stability of the serum. Caprylyl glycol and 1,2-hexanediol: These ingredients serve as a preservation system and antimicrobial. ........................ So there you have it.

The light feature/ printer scares me. There have been beauty trends in the past that have later proven unhealthy, so it’s hard to trust something new! Usually light therapy at a facial means exposure is low at maybe one facial per month. But everyday light therapy, that’s a significant increase in the light exposure. If it’s correcting spots it’s sinking into the skin cells and my question is, what does that do over time? From a study by Harvard.edu (something to consider! I’m just reading this for the first time myself) published Oct 2019 “For the most part, these LED light therapies appear to be relatively safe, at least in the short term, says Dr. Buzney. The FDA has approved some products for home use. LED skin devices don't have a lot of power, so they're unlikely to burn your skin. However, it is important to shield your eyes from the light while using them, says Dr. Buzney. One brand, Neutrogena, recalled its Light Therapy Acne Mask in July in response to concerns about the device's potential to damage the eyes in people with underlying eye conditions or those who are taking medication that makes the eyes more sensitive to light. Yet there is still a lot that's not known about the effects of these devices. "The long-term safety of these light therapies remains uncertain," says Dr. Marissa Heller, an assistant professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School. So, consider these unknowns when weighing the pros and cons of LED light therapy.” www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/led-lights-are-they-a-cure-for-your-skin-woes

Also want to mention, it seems “blue light” is mostly (and maybe only) effective for acne 🤷🏻♀️ “Blue LED light is most often used to treat acne. It may do this by reducing activity in the sebaceous glands, so they produce less of the oil that can plug the hair follicles, leading to acne. Blue light may also kill acne-causing bacteria known as Cutibacterium acnes. Often blue and red light are used in combination to help fight acne - the blue light targeting the C. acnes and the red light targeting inflammation and redness. However, more research is needed to confirm that these lights are truly effective and that they produce lasting results.”

Hi there! Our blue light is tested and approved for safety by a certified lab! The blue light is not a laser or LED- it's simply a light that detects dark spots so OPTE knows exactly where to deposit our pigmented serum! The serum has 5% niacinamide to help visibly fade spots over time!
