I recently purchased this concealer. Yes, it’s lightweight, hydrating, blends beautifully but only lasted just a few short hours. If only the coverage lasted longer, it would of been wonderful!

This one looks good on you. I'm not too surprised. I think it was Jen Phelps that I saw try it and she has dry skin also. Honestly, I don't see the lines you're talking about under your eyes but I definitely saw the eyeliner transfer. I don't think I've had anything do something that bad on me in years. I'm sorry it sucked. I will have to go check your concealer list to see what I want to ask you to review. I do want to say thank you for going through all this so I/we know what's worth it and what's not. Oh, and are you watching WandaVision, by chance? I just wondered what you thought of it. Your eye look is striking today!! Sorry the Rimmel liner didn’t hold up, but the effect when first applied was gorgeous. I will need to try this concealer and would love reviews for ALL of your oldie but goodies since I probably haven’t tried many of them. I must say I love the ELF Lash It Loud mascara. I have very hooded lids and short, strait, sparse lashes that look nonexistent without mascara. Most non waterproof mascaras smudge on me but Lash It Loud lasts really well. Mascara is like finding a great pair of jeans. What fits one person may not work for another person and vice versa. I live in Alaska and right now climate is cold (like -6 degrees cold) and very dry, which I’m sure helps with with the smudging. Anywho, thanks as always for your wonderfulness!!

Aww I love the sponge tip lol I've never had a problem from it and I wash my face before makeup so my face is clean and I've never had a problem with the age rewind. I wish I would've looked at your video before I bought this one I don't wanna have to mix them but porcelain is a little light for me and that's hard to do lol 🤣 love your reviews as always. ❤️

❤💖Shelly! 💞💜 I have been gone from The Tubes and completely out of the makeup loop! Sometimes when I'm feeling real booshie, I slather the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer all over my face as foundation. It gives the most stunning finish, and does to the rest of my face, what it does to the undereyes. Smooths and tightens. Don't do it often because it would cost s fortune to wear everyday, but I wish Charlotte would come out with a matching foundation. Love you lady and have really missed your videos. I got a lot of catching up to do!

Hi Shelley I have it in my cart, but haven't purchased as yet - mostly due to it not being their normal shade numbers and not knowing which to get. I think I might be the porcelain as I'm normally 0.5 in their shade range. I would be interested in a wear test of the CT one to see it in action, as i'm considering buying it to treat myself - who doesn't want smoothing at 49? i thought this looked pretty good and I don't need really full coverage, as i don't have really dark circles (just a bit of blue/purple in the inner corner). I don't need two new concealers though and I have something I like for redness/facial concealing. I might just order the original and miss out on this dupe - I haven't decided. i have very dry skin and it did look hydrating though. Best wishes.

The porcelain is just about too light on me though I usually wear their 3, so I wonder if it's light enough - it might be more like a 1 or 1.5 relatively speaking.

I have permanent purple under-eye circles, and the Bobbi Brown color corrector work very well for me, if you don't mind something more creamy in a small pot.

Hi Caroline!! This past summer my study abroad was supposed to visit Belfast for the first time! Of course it was canceled :( There's a new film festival that started there a couple years back that we were planning to attend. I have not yet been to Belfast! We typically stay in Derry for a week of the 6 week program. It's canceled for 2021 as well but hopefully next summer we will be back! I miss Boots and Superdrug!!

My favorites for both smoothing and coverage are the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away and Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection. The Wet n Wild Incognito is close - not quite as smoothing, but good coverage. I love the L'Oreal Age Perfect but it is nowhere near as much coverage as the others here.

Would love to see how the CT concealer compares to the Doll 10 Hydralux concealer. I find that one to be the most smoothing I have tried (although it is also on the speedy side).

I love me some dupe videos. 👌 Love the music! 🎶 ❤️ Also: I bought the WNW Bare Focus tinted skincare veil via your recommendation and I LOVE IT! 😍 It lasted all day and even lasted well (my experience) under a MASK 😷! The only down side is the Porcelain shade is too peachy for my skin tone BUT I just use my light concealer to brighten and once all my makeup is on you can barely tell.🥰🥰 So thank you for your review on that, Shelley! 🙌😘😘

Thanks for sharing the WnW mask update!! I am never out in the world for more than 5 minutes so I'm a terrible judge of that! I always wear a mask but it's for 90 seconds at a time running into the post office 😂

Have you or anyone else used the Dose of Colors Meet Your Hue concealer? It’s a choice item in my March Ipsy Plus box and my mature dry under-eyes need hydration! I have tried it on my mature dry undereyes, it has great coverage but its not hydrating at all. Its to dry for my taste which is unfortunate because the coverage is so great

Spanx for the under eye! That’s what we need. I thought it looked quite similar to CT as far as packaging. I’m okay with a one tap out maintenance it’s when it needs to be tapped multiple times through the day. Would you think it’d be great for no makeup days where you just wanted a bit of coverage around the eye area?

Yep I think that would definitely be a prime use for this one! The fact that it's a hydrated-looking finish I think would look natural with no foundation.

Nope it's definitely not enough of a dupe that I'd stop buying the CT. I feel like it would be nothing short of a miracle to find something that replaces CT in my life. I do have some drugstore ones I love (L'Oreal Age Perfect and the new WnW Incognito) but I would still want my CT for the perfection kinds of days. It's so good.

Yep probably 1.5x to twice as much coverage I'd say. Conceal & Define works really well for me (even better than Conceal & Hydrate, though the name always makes me grab Hydrate with high hopes). This Bright one is more hydrating than Conceal & Hydrate, I think.

I tear off the sponge which I think is a horrible applicator. Plus you get more product from not being absorbed into the sponge, and it’s more hygienic.

Its NOT a dupe at all LOL. BUT, if you let it sit for about 30-50 seconds before blending out, the coverage is better. Its not terrible for me, but its not great either LOL

Concealer right now would be either the L'Oreal Age Perfect or Wet n Wild Incognito. I don't explicitly set my under eyes anymore (though I might take leftover powder just a tiny bit if the concealer isn't staying put) so for that I'm usually using the Flower Beauty Light Illusion powder lately.

It does make me laugh that they put the horrid, germ harboring sponge on it. Dorks. Happy the formula is good. I looked for about a week for my Drunk E's d'bronzi. Remembered putting it in a better spot but then.....Found it by my, "other" sunscreen. Yes better place but I may have to write myself sticky notes to remember.

Probably not, since I had the MAC Paint Pot over the concealer that was on my eye (and I do that whenever I have enough concealer to go onto the lid). Most liquid liners will transfer on me if I wear a thicker line, which is why I don't buy them unless there's some perk like this special wing tip. The Physicians Formula and the CoverGirl Active are the two that don't transfer. (KVD doesn't either but with the PF looking identical, I don't spend that $ anymore).
