Games made using Construct 3, Photoshop, Aseprite.
Hey everybody, thanks for watching. This is my first time making a devlog and it was a lot of fun. I wanted to show the experience I had of starting a project, getting excited about it, and then having to full stop make another game before getting back to it. I am a fan of many others making videos about their experiences in game dev and I hope I was able to give back a little bit of that entertainment.

They need to make game jams into a reality tv show. I’d watch the heck outta that

They tried and it went really badly because the producers tried to make it all about drama. kotaku.com/the-indie-game-reality-tv-show-that-went-to-hell-1555599284

@@ivohunter24 I know right? Could have been great if they didn't try to make everyone act crappy towards each other. But I'm glad that the contestants banded together and walked out because that's not what this industry is about.

Well that's just sad those producers obviously never watched master Crafters which was hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman from the show Parks and Recreation. Was surprised when I watched contestants helping each other and cheer each other on as they finished their Craft's. Literally the only drama was ppl being worried about not having enough time. I feel like a game jam show should've been like that. Would be very entertaining and would be a die hard fan of the show lol 😂

cross the gap is pretty nice.. after playing for almost 2 hours i managed to get a 3:58 by just using optimal routes and in the level 10 a small glitch where you can activate the lever and ride the platform at the same time (only possible with player 1) this saves a little time.

Love your videos!, I’m also very interested in game dev, and I’m already gaining confidence on it by watching your videos!. They are inspiring also because of knowing you’re a grown up, have side(“real” bills pay) job!, and also married!, don’t miss understand me, it’s encouraging because of the world that we’re force to live!, Hope you reach your solo indie game dev soon! 2 buttons only huh... I feel like I would make a menue that you open by hitting a box you have to carry around to swap out items. Or maybe items you have to switch betwee. It wouldn't be many, 3 or 4 on the low end though, enough to need to juggle the options.

As someone with another game that is taking forever, all the finalizing is what takes the longest. You may have heard the term that the last 20% takes up 80% of time is totally true. It's always quick to get it "working" but to make it a product takes a ton of work.
