enjoyed the video, loved the pace and the sound effects too. We craft cutting boards and cheese boards from rough sawmill lumber, always watching for tips on making our boards better and more attractive. Loved the designs. Subbed thanks for sharing. Oh, it looks like you use a board with nails protruding thru to use as a sanding stand. You must have a light touch. We sand from 80, 120, 220, 600, 1000 and 2000 grit. Last three are all by hand, really produces a glass-like finish but it is labor intensive. Really enjoyed video. Look forward to watching more when I can.

Thanks! I'd love to see one of your cutting boards! I actually only use the nail boards for applying finish when I want to do both sides of the work piece at the same time. I sand on an old floor pad. I actually made about 15 more boards all different designs right after this video. I didn't film the build but maybe I'll put some cool ones in an upcoming video somehow. Cheers!

Thanks! I just heat it with the electric oil radiator. It’s pretty well insulated so it doesn’t take much to get it warm.

I have made a couple cutting boards and have run into the same problem. Every time after a little time, the seams of the glue up will have the slightest ridge. I have sanded and smoothed and waited with no raised seams then after a week or two they show up. Any suggestions to not have this happen? Oh yeah I subscribed too haha

Excellent but one doubt, glue shall never b chemical glue.It must b of edible flour or joints made with wooden pins. No Polish shall b applied for finishing. At the most linseed oil, so that wood will not rot before sale.
