@@deadplayawhat is bit rate?
@froschreiniger2639
@froschreiniger2639 Жыл бұрын
@@rianweston-dodds6247 Its how much data the video uses per second. An uncompressed 1080p video, so a video where every pixel is updated every frame would max out a 1 gigabit connection. So to save data what they do is they dont update every pixel every frame and have an algorithm guess which color most of the pixels should have and only updating them with real data when necessary. This works ok when you for example have a dog running across a yard, most of the trees and houses that dont move dont have to be updated every frame, a part of the video is essentially a still picture with some approximations of what those pixels should display. While the pixels of the dog get updated every frame because the dog is moving. Because only a small part of the picture is moving the algorithm can deal with it easily because updating the few pixels that display the dog doesn't take much data. But when you have confetti or in this case a bunch of sparkly diamonds, this data saving trick wont work, because almost every single pixel will have to be constantly updated, because not only do they all move, the algorithm cant guess what happens next so it cant approximate. So it has no other choice but to lower the quality drastically because youtube heavily restricts bitrate. With youtubes limitations you could probably only watch a true uncompressed video in 144p.

@@jamesjameson4566 Probably just about as much as any job that requires screen time or fine detailed inspection. I do most of my fine work under a very ergonomic Leica swing arm microscope with adjustable lighting, so I'm usually in control of what I'm looking at

@KK-rw8sj They bore a hole where the diamond will sit in while leaving some gold protuding up and over the diamond. Then after the diamond is placed, they squished the gold over the diamond in 4 corners essentially partially burying the diamond in gold to hold it in place. Unless the guy trip and smash his chain onto the pavement it's unlikely for it to lose diamonds.

Junior's precision is quite a talent. Jewelers are really artists. It's a shame real diamonds are indistinguishable from man made diamonds, though. I quit buying them years ago. There's an infinite amount available.

Do you think over time any of the diamonds fall out? Wonder how they are kept in place

I always wondered that too. Is it like an air tight fit??? Or do they add a solution that make the diamonds stay in place???

When you see him take that metal rod(graver) and knock down the walls of the holes he just drilled, that’s the key. He created little shared prongs for the stones. Once he lays the stones out, he then uses a beading tool to bead the prongs down on the stones. Done properly, they won’t fall out for many years. Eventually the gold will wear down though. At that point, the prongs will need to be retipped. Any jeweler who glued them in is not a very good jeweler. No solution of any kind should be used to hold the stones in.
