I am really impressed with those tiles. They really came to life.

I hope you bring some more of this descent tiles. I wanna build some of my own and would like to see how you manage the indoor part.
@EHeathRobinson3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the indoor tiles are still on the list to finish. We started making some, but I think we need to go back and completely rethink them. Hopefully we will be able to return to the project.

Great board. Love the mushroom idea. How did you make the water tiles?
@EHeathRobinson2 жыл бұрын
Originally we were going dig down into the tiles and use water effects for the water, but the was not working and we were running out of time. So, we just used air-drying modeling clay to fill each water square and then textured it to look like rippling water. Then we just painted it blue.

I love HQ (own 2 set & Backed the new Hasbro one), I dont own Decent but I do own Imperial Assault its Star Wars Counter part, I stayed with Standard tiles, I would Like to get them Reprinted Larger, But I swapped the minis to clear bases to show all the great art on the tiles, also 3D Printed a lot terrain elements to place on the tiles, I love upgrading my Board games & Painting the minis, you might want to check out Dungeon Saga (also Super Dungeon Explorer... even with Chibi minis) as well, to me its more HQ like than Decent is

Thanks! I have Imperial Assault too, sitting on the shelf. It would be fun to upgrade and paint. I have not heard of the others. Will look into them.

Descent tiles are double sided, are yours?
@EHeathRobinson4 жыл бұрын
The tiles we made are not double-sided. We are just going to make other tiles for what is supposed to be on the back.
@sheilaklein38224 жыл бұрын
@@EHeathRobinson, and you have the tiles numbered on the back? I think I saw that in the video. BTW: I just discovered your channel today, and I have to tell you that I love it! You're not monotone, and also not cringingly loud and boisterous.

@@EHeathRobinson, my husband (manager of a local game store) and massive collector of all things Descent and Shadows of Brimstone, would like to know how you are going to store all that.
@zombiefy5 жыл бұрын
Beautiful! Do you guys have plans to make more for Descent?
@EHeathRobinson5 жыл бұрын
We do! We still have to do the interiors for sure. But, there is also a lot more exterior tile we need to do too. This just got us started with the first three quests! :-)
