That is bad ass!! I love the flame and how it goes over the sound hole like that. Jaw dropping look dude!!

Thank you Eloy ,I couldn't decide on f hole or round so figured as I plan to cover them alittle both would look cool and sound good unplugged ,any recommendations on recording live sound on a budget ? Thank you for watching
@ESCAGEDOWOODWORKING5 жыл бұрын
@@sdmcustoms Yeah I saw that you included both. The flame covering like that is super cool. If you are not looking to layer sounds like a full song with drums and just want the guitar recorded. I think either a usb mic directly into your editing software would work. You can use the plug ins that some of the video software includes for audio. Such as compression and eq. I use protools and and xlr for recording songs. But there is also the zoom recorders that have really good stereo. I think the zoom recorders start at about 100. I have the bottom model and it does really really good capturing sound. If you want to go cheaper there has to be china knock offs that do a decent job. It's a big subject. The sony action cams record video and do stereo audio and they are pretty top notch with the audio believe it or not. Like really good. You could go the rout of a daw and they sell those pretty cheap like the behringer u-phoria um2.

Thanks ,I have 2 different interfaces ,used reaper and had success in the past but since I moved and set it all up again it just has way too much background noise that I can't figure where it's from or how to get rid of it ,I've been looking into them hand held zoom recorders with the little mics on them
@ESCAGEDOWOODWORKING5 жыл бұрын
@@sdmcustoms The noise can be from where you are set up and electrical interference from other devices or grounding issues from the cables and such. It can be annoying. I have a similar problem and I'm always dealing with those issues. I one of my last songs on my channel. The 1988 song, I had crackly going on and just said screw it and left it it. But I need to get my recording gear in order. including cleaning up my PC. So yeah I totally get the headache of that.

It's not so bad recording heavy guitars and hiding it with drums etc ,it's trying to get clean bass or guitar I have the problem and TBH I give up too soon on problem solving

This was really a exercise in making a jig do all the work ,once the jig was made it took a day to make the body and I spent a week finishing and drying time . (I started and built the body last Saturday and am playing it this Saturday!) I really like how it turned out and it plays and sounds great. The preamp has a tuner , EQ ,reverb and chorus ,it was only $26 but sounds great ,it came with a under saddle pick up. I bought the neck I didn't do any kind of playthrough because as I use a phone to video, it sounded shit on the recording so I'll get someone to help me with sound and maybe start another channel with playthrough of this and all my other guitars I've made ? It sounds good acoustically and great plugged in . Thanks for watching
