Love the video 👍 How do pages like Bleacher Report blur out the crowd in the background of their edits? Do they make a cut out of the player and duplicate it and lay it over a blurred effect?

That is likely what they do. Though you’d also have to use content-aware/generative fill to take the cutout out of the initial background before blurring it (otherwise you’ll have some glow around the cutout) Other explanations are just using great photos that already have nice blur, or using the new-ish Lens Blur within Camera Raw Filter, which I’ve seen pretty decent results with

I've found that I can't edit gradient points after I've put them in Both gradient layer and a gradient mask I always have to delete it and start over

Hmm do you have the most recent version of photoshop? That’s how mine used to be, then it changed in the last year or so, whenever I’d switch back to the gradient tool it’d let me move it. There might be some setting for it in preferences or something too

@@mikegolding6476 ok figured it out. When you have the gradient tool selected, in the top left drop down you should be able to choose either Gradient or Classic Gradient. “Gradient” should allow you to move the gradient points afterwards, Classic Gradient does not
