You are a great teacher, Stefan. I learned so much today. I've always wondered how to use the time stretching properly and you showed how simple it is. The slicing too. I didn't know about the Ultrabeat trick and I'd never thought about layering drums with different drum programs (I have quite a few drum VIs) Even the dragging something out of a prepared track stack is a good idea. Obviously I've done the opposite. Very, very helpful video. Thanks. And now I'm going to check out Distrokid!

Feeling the beat BRO!! nice work. I have a question one producer to another whats your intake on Ableton live 9, because i just bought live suite and a push2 and bro i am frustrated with this software. I see a few hip hop producers doing there thing but for the majority i always see brothers having FL, REASONS, PRO X, Akai Renaissance LIVE 9 and drum machine then mix into pro tools yo. Im still in the process of finding the right combonation for me that works im a MPC dude bro and i cant wait for the MPC X to come out. As for a DAW does the sampling in PRO X do well.

Good one bro. What I do for sorting out the tempo (given that we know the original tempo) put the whole project in the sample's original tempo, then selecting the sample click the flex button on top of the tracks and select monophonic. That way however many times you change the tempo of the project it just adjusts itself.
