It's just that most people these days have the attention span of the fish inside the tank..... That's putting it lightly, some people demand instant gratification or they're put off. I'll see something interesting and it'll be like 30 seconds to a minute and you got people shortening that. As long as the fertilized water circulates (which it does, and effectively since Jun used the filter's pump to bring the fertilized water to the plants up top) the tank itself requires minimal cleaning from the amano and the droppings. Of course, we're sure that Jun will do a stellar job at keeping that tank clean as it can get. Thunder is really fortunate to have that roomy space all to himself. (Well, with a few butlers to clean up after him.)

I see a lot of people who will just stick a fish in a bottle or bowl and not actually take the time and resources to care for them properly. Seeing someone put this much effort into giving their fish a nice home is refreshing. Many people forget that fish are living things and that they deserve as much care as a dog or cat. P.S. for those of you out there who want to get a betta, bowls and vases are out of the question as with anything that isn't actually a tank. They need a minimum 5 gallon (i recommend 10 - 20 gallon)with heater and good filtration. Most males are a hit or miss with tank mates as they are aggressive. Before getting any fish or pet gor that matter Please! Please! Do a lot of research. Watching a youtube video isn't enough. Read as many care guides and articles as well as videos from reputable sources. All animals in our care deserve to be loved and not neglected. 🐠🐢🐶🐱🐦

Yes! I see many animals like Birds, reptiles and amphibians being ill treated. I focused on fish because that is what i am specialize in and know the most about. Neglecting the proper care for any pet is the worst thing you can do to them.

As an aquarist and professional fish breeder, this is a video well done, Jun. You've done an amazing job with the setup and picked the correct inhabitants. It appears you've done a great deal of research and that is seriously commendable. Amazing work with the scape, it's beautiful! Some notes for anyone interested in recreating this: please do the appropriate research. Fish tanks, ESPECIALLY CO2 systems, are incredibly expensive. It requires sufficient research and knowledge, as well as a large budget to do this. I really think more people should get into fish, as they are immensely rewarding and some of the best pets a person can have. I just wanted to throw some disclaimers in with my two cents to make sure if anyone wants to recreate this, they follow the necessary steps to be as ethical to our little aquatic friends as possible. Beautiful work, Jun. I'm amazed to see such a well constructed tank done near perfect. Thank you very much for spreading fish keeping to the more mainstream!!!!!! :)

Part of it is absolutely the kind of personality your cat was born with. But I'm certain that the way they treated them as kittens and their gradual adjustments to this for years has a massive impact as well. I still remember the first video they uploaded of them taking their cats on walks involved the use of a harness. A combination of love and years of training had to get to this point. I also think it's very much worth noting that only Haku is seen getting this level of freedom. Probably due to innate personality combined with having bonded with them longer than the other kitties.

I have four cats two of them were able to go.for walks, one of them was erratic and needed a leash at all times, but other one was like Haku, he could go without a leash, would walk near me, and if he ran he would come back when I called his name each time, he was an amazing partner, we went to the park pretty often :) it totally depends on the personality of the cats, my other two hate the outside and are afraid of basically anything loud or crowded

You should check out lilothehusky on Instagram. Their cat Rosie is so bonded with their husky, they have hiking videos here on KZbin were they take the cat along with them! Sometimes she doesn't even wears a harness and lead. I think it's a mix of training and the cat's personality.

i think its suuuper specific to the cat too. I once had a cat that would just follow me on long walks through the woods and I would feel totally at ease because i knew the cat wouldn't run away and just loved to be with me. I've had a lot of cats since that one and I don't feel the same about the rest. Another big thing that helps is to always keep the cat interested in what you're doing. Notice how Jun always lets them sniff and interact with whatever he's upto? If you engage with your cat all the time, they WANT to follow you everywhere because they don't want to miss out on anything.

Definitely depends on the kitty! I started taking my cat outside on a harness in the yard when he was 9. He's sensitive and skittish and it took 3-4 summers to get him calmer and used to it so we can go out almost anytime now(initially it was only on the quietest days, no wind, no car or people noises). I still would not be able to take him in a car and to a park then on a walk, he gets irrationally fearful once in the car. But now that he is 14 I actually can bring him in the yard sometimes with no harness and he just walks slowly and lets me pick him up to come inside. But I didn't start with him off harness, he may have ran in fear, he's still quite skittish.
