I’m not usually a fan of collages cause I never seem to “understand” them but your video was suggested and I clicked on it and I’m like “yes, now I get it!” I love your work and you put me on to new artists which I never would have come across before. Love this! Love your collage!! But also love all the illustration. It’s okay to go through phases of media you use and dip in and out of focussing more on collage sometimes and play other times. Returning to play is so important to relieve the burnout that can come with the pressure to do certain intense detailed art that requires so much brain energy (or even just the pressure to have to do the art only that way) Excited for your shop update keen buy a bunch of things!!

LOVE your tea party piece!! It's so fun to watch you evolve and try different things. As a fellow collager, I feel your pain on how slow it can be. Fluorescents like opera and rose pink are impossible to scan. I just use my camera.

Speaking of equipment what scanner do you use? I also collage and my current one is just terrible for collage.. I don't know if it's bc I use patterned paper but even so theres always like scan lines or it's blurry no matter what settings I do

What paper do you use to put all your collage onto? The blank paper that you always start with in all your videos ?

It's random with every collage, but its mainly cards stock. If I know it will be more mixed media and I'll be painting on it, I'll use watercolour paper :)
