I found a 2000sqft 4 bdrm 2 bath house with a nice big barn on 3/4acre for $102k in VA. It needs no major or super costly repairs. Might end up at $110k-115k in the end. The same exact type of house where we live in WA is at least $500k. Fibromyaglia & endometriosis make making money practically impossible so we have to think about moving. As a 74 year older lady who is also a retired violinist now a street violinist next to Disneyland, I have stuck a layer or two of bubble wrap in my blouse or vest to keep me warm in winter. I'm planning to make a cordura vest in two layers so I can stick bubble wrap inside. The pockets of air make it a dynamite insulator. You are soooo creative that I think you could enjoy a prosperous future by popularing recycled clothes if you just design the exterior with design and flash. It would be not so hard to design cool-looking homeless ponchos, coats and jackets with water-repellent exterior like nylon etc. and an interior pocket all around for bubble wrap stuffing single sheets. If you market it well enough, others would buy it and if lowcost enough, homeless advocates could afford to buy by the dozen. (But being a homeless advocate for years, they'd want some kind of large patch or logo or design to convey respect, such as the old flag, Don't Tread on Me. A+ from an old teacher! May the Lord bless your creative little heart❤

I love this Reminds me of how my old school used to do a "trashion show" every year that was the same idea. Sustainably thought out ways to reuse your trash. So neat 😊

Oh, I love the minty color in the first shot. :) It is so exciting to see little snippets of the house.

My house had a room with peanut butter colored walls and carpet. Mint is better. Lol

Oh my gosh I so related to the “little kid proudly showing off their art project” emotions. It’s a mood.

I’ve been wanting a selkie dress forever 😭 money’s tight this year so I’ll just live through you. Thanks for preventing me from making poor finances decisions Rachel!

Oh yes, even though I am a generation older than you my grandparents had theses dolls. In the UK though. Absolutely brilliant, you always managed to add cheer to the day, thank you for sharing x

What a delightful person you are. The world is genuinely a better place for having you in it. This video gave me, like, at least three full molecules of dopamine.

I love how noticeably happy and pleased you are throughout this video!! I’m so happy you’re settling in the new home and also selfishly happy to have my favorite cozy fridays/saturday activity back this week 🧡🧡

This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen! The whole time I was thinking, "There's no way I could make that without rolling in it after, " and then... the popping occurred lol

I’m dying at your “going out to get the mail Grandpa”!!! I did the same when we bought our house, save all the packing materials! You never know when you’ll be able to upcycle something!!
