Hi!! It has been brought to my attention that using the word "banger" to describe "Zombie" by The Cranberries was a VERY BAD choice of words (considering the political weight and backstory of that song), so I want to apologize for that and have removed it from the video. I will definitely do more research into the references I choose going forward, I never want anyone to feel upset with the wording I choose, but please believe it's usually just a foresight on my end and never on purpose

As someone who's made a few bustier tops, the problem wasn't you, Rachel, it was the pattern - bustier tops need to be really fitted under the bust in order for the cups to work, in a way that normal dress bodices aren't, because they're meant to go from bust to waist smoothly. Still, this turned out *SO BEAUTIFUL* and the sleeves are amazing and your makeup looks gorgeous and I love the choice of fabric. Your work is always so impressive! And you made the boob cups so much easier, I can't believe I never thought of doing it that way instead of three individual pieces.

Nooooo, dear @Rachel Maksy you MUST SEE the REAL original Secret Garden movie from 1949, with adorable little Margaret o'Brien! 🌷 That kinda awkward 1990’s version and the new have got nothin’ on the beautiful storytelling and truth of children learning to be unselfish that the old one has. ✨ Not to mention, the 1949 version is true to the intent of the book, where the others take their own direction. Give it a watch, I think you’ll appreciate it. 🙃 BUT, in other news... This dress is all things beautiful. 🥰 Wonderful work Rachel!

I just wanted to say that the difference between your newest (post channel-update) videos and your older ones is... crazy, not just in quality (because I could tell you had so much more breathing room for the project and the editing) but because the editing was so much more... playful? Like, I could tell you had so much fun making this video, and editing it. You seem so relaxed and happy and creative, and I just... made me so happy to see?? i've been watching you in earnest since the beginning of 2020, and I never realized how much pressure you put on yourself to put out videos each week until these newer videos, where you have so much more space and time to make something you're proud of. I just want to know how happy I was to see it, and how much happier I feel when I watch your videos now. And I just want to validate your choice to change your channel schedule--I am SO happy to wait a little longer for a video if it's full of you being creatively joyful and relaxed. Congrats to you for doing what's best for you; as a fan, I'm so happy for you. (Also, I must reiterate my thanks to you for making your video about watching the Mummy with an Egyptologist; Dr. Darnell bought my grandparents' house after my grandma's passing, and I was too young at the time to think to stay in touch with her and her husband, so when I saw my grandma's living room in your video, where I spent so many happy christmases and easters, I sat on my couch and cried for about an hour, while watching your hilarious video over and over. it probably feels insignificant to you but thank you for bringing Dr. Darnell and that gorgeous house back into my life.) Sincerely, A fairly recent but VERY enthusiastic fan

Hey I hope you see this! The easiest way to get those flower applications from the tulle fabric is getting a wood burning tool, and tracing them! The burning tool cauterizes the fabric so the embroidery doesn’t unravel, and you can attach them anywhere (you just wanna clean the tool tip a lot so you don’t get scorch marks on the fabric)
