debatable, For example a hacksaw and a circular saw do the same thing, But my cuts are a hell of a lot straighter with a circular saw, and some tools do the same thing but require different skills to do that job, A cnc machine I'd imagine this varies, But I know some use cad to tell the machine what to do, And the machine does it very accurately, Where as with a plasma cutter instead of being skilled with cad you have to be skilled with plasma cutting, And you won't be as steady. You're welcome for the essay you didn't expect nor want.

My uncle taught me something in his garage when I was a young boy it's two quotes I live by till this day when making something: "work smarter not harder." And "don't do the tools job for it; when you use it correctly the tools does most of the work for you."
@TheEpicLinkFreeman6 жыл бұрын
that's not true in the case where you aren't directly using the tool; you can download a model and cut it out without ever doing any real work, aside from downloading it and sending it over to your cutter yes it does the same thing as some other tools, but there is no human element to using it unless you manually change the settings on how the thing cuts.

I always like steampunk devices that look that way because they actually use those parts to work, as opposed to having random bits attached to something very generic inside, no matter how artfully. This lamp's clever design and build quality makes it look like it's been made by a company that also makes motorcycles in an alternate reality where power stations do not exist because either there is not enough people using electricity or they were destroyed by a worldwide disaster or war, rather than something hacked together at home. It would fit great in a post-apocalyptic game like Fallout or a movie like Mad Max.

What an excellent idea for a bedside light. Keeping one hand on the throttle you can use it for a bit of reading,remembering to 'blip' the throttle when you need to turn the page over, then get a great night's sleep when the exhaust fumes render you unconscious, then as it ticks over in the dark it will keep you asleep until the fuel runs out. Perhaps you could fit a larger fuel tank to help you get a lie in at the weekend?
